you need a photo ID. How about a state ID or a FOID card. Unless your doing it over the phone.

From what I've read LG and Samsung have the PTT cornored until April 1st with cingular. Nokia is supposed to have one out around march or april. I've been waiting too. I want all the toys, but I want Ptt.

Hey. I was just wondering if anyone out there had any thoughts about cingulars new PTT and nextels DC. Does anyone think that now that Cingular has PTT they might put a hurt on nextels DC? Just looking for a little input on the subject.

I have had Nokia phones since 1996 and never had a problem. I bought a Palm Treo 650 in April of '05 and turned it back in, and am using one of my old Nokia's now. I will never buy anything but a Nokia from now on.

Well, I guess anything is worth a try. My kids have cells, so I could get them the samsung and try it. I want the whole family to have the ptt, but I also like all my bells and whistles.Thanks for all the help:}:}:}

Treo tech support will tell you to do a hard reset, uninstall all software and reinstall all software, change user names and so on. They will run you in circles. I had 8 replacements sent to me between Cingular and Palm One. Be ready for headaches. I finally got a refund after I lost business and info. on mine. Good Luck to you.

I haven't heard anything about the 700, but I had my 650 replaced a total of 8 times not including the one I bought. I wouldn't take another one if it came free with a big check.

My first one would turn on and off ( I think it was haunted LOL) Then the next 8 would turn on and off, freeze up, the camera stopped working, the phone itself would go on and off, drop calls. I had too many problems to mention on here the list would be endless. The BBB is the Better Business Bureua, Once I got them involved I had Palm calling me to get the problem fixed. They gave me ...

I had the 650 with Cingular service, after 8 replacements (and the one I purchased) and a letter to the BBB they finally gave me a refund. Good luck with yours

Thanks for the help. I really want a nokia phone, but I also want PTT and all the bells and whistles. Guess I can't have it all this early in the Cingular Ptt game.

Hey there, do you have any idea if the Nokia 6620 is ptt capable, I did a search here for ptt and it came up, but on the Nokia site it says nothing, same with the cingular site.

This was an easy one. Just download songs onto your PC in real palyer ( comes with the phone). Hook your phone up to the PC, select real player on your phone and you can download the songs you want. Rael palyer has to be running on your phone or it won't connect to sync.

I did go to the site and downloaded 1.17. I can't help you out much other than that. I have recently returned my Treo for a refund so that I can get a phone I don't have to replace 9 times before it works.
