Sounds the same as a RAZR
I made a few calls to a friend (on his landline) switching back and forth between a RAZR and an A870. He couldn't tell which phone was which. Nobody I've talked to on mine has complained about the voice quality at all. To my ears, it sounds just fine. I called and left messages on my home answering machine from a RAZR and my A870, and again, they both sound fine to me.
Obviously, you don't think it sounds ...

Yes. I was able to email a midi ringtone, with the extension, and an MPS ringtone, with the extension removed. Both work just fine as ringtones on the phone.
I disagree with your statement. The keypad works fine for me.

With all due respect, I have not experienced any of the problems you have had with this phone. You have posted your negative opinion several times and that’s fine. That's your experience with the phone.
Personally, I quite like the phone, and for my needs it works very well. I find the voice quality to be excellent, and the phone works great.
I do not use the Verizon leather case. I carry the phone in my pocket or a pouch ...

Actually, according to the manual, you can set a reminder for each item individually, like missed calls, voice mails, and text messages. Unless I read the manual wrong. It does mention this for the Calendar, but it also mentions this for "Alert Sounds"
