Im going to put this phone on my $50 sero plan. Why wouldnt it work? its not like the instinct where it has to be on and $100 everything plan.
Verizon on Sprint
I was wondering if i am able to put my
LG vx8100 on the sprint network. i know that the FCC ruled that the companies have to allow their phones on other "like" networks, but what steps do i have to take do this and what problems will i face if i use a verizon phone on sprint? Thanks in advance!

Hey sprint_2008, i tried putting the Touch skin on there but now i can get rid of some apps that i put on. Even when i removed them from the programs and deleted the files of my phone its still there. I did a soft reset and it didnt work. any suggestions because i dont want to do a hard reset because i might lose my contacts. Anybody have any suggestions???

yes, sprint is actually paying you to have their service and what i mean by that is the their SERO plan. They are plans with awesome features for a steep discounted price. I think right now you also get free unlimited text included also with a sero plan plus included features like vision and picture mail(which is a joke IMO).

but why even have picture mail. i used to have verizon but now i have sprint, but on verizon you could take a picture and send it no problem, no extra charge, no extra feature. you could send the picture just like a regular text and anybody who has verizon or had verizon knows what im talking about.

Well you are after all talking about Sprint, they do everything backwards, like having a great phone first then waiting for other companies to get something similiar and for them to advertise it, then we advertise after they do. I cant even count how many times this has happened.
or how about, building up their data first while many cities have poor reception, I mean after all people want data before making calls right ?

SERO, employee referrel plans, don't have add-line options. Each line is on its own. To have a shared plan, you would have to change to a normal consumer plan, which is usually not the best option. The best option is usually to add the second/third/whatever line as its own through the same channel you got your prior line.
they used to have an add phone option for $10 last February when i signed up on my SERO ...

Picture mail! You have to pay $5 dollars if you want to send and receive pictures. Plus KB charge. Ridiculous. Why dont they just include sending picture with a text plan like verizon and other companies. I have sprint service, this just bugs me. But wait if you want to send pictures and receive pictures without the KB charge you can go on a vision package for $15 which is even more ridiculous. Does anybody else see something wrong ...

well i called sprint today because of my messed up phone bill. it was over $1000. i finally got the bill down to $319 which is where it is usually at monthly for our account. the lady asked me if i had anymore questions and i said yes i do.

yeah there were two seperate numbers, but i sent one back already.
