After giving up waiting for the OnePlus One, I started looking around. Here's a kicker...On the OnePlus users forum, several people were talking about the mate2. I saw the specs a few months ago, never gave it a thought. Snap400, 720p screen, JB4.3, really? After seeing several positive reviews, and the price on Amazon, what the heck! I've had it almost 3 weeks, not one bit of trouble! Screen is crystal clear & ...

No reason to "invest" in upgrades, when between Verizon & AT&T, they have the USA market sewed up. Sprint & T-mobile? Yeah right...after the T gets bought by the death star, Verizon will, even though they say they won't, buy Sprint. With AT&T & Verizon owning the market, they can relax and quit spending money to upgrade to better or faster service. Why should they? Don't like the service hahahaha says AT&T, go to Verizon, ...

I've got an unlocked one. Had it about 2 months. On Cingular...No problems with data transfers. If you are talking the USB cable, bluetooth, IR, no issues at all. Most of the time, I transfer via the 512 meg card.

in the Article: SE Updates the Z550 With Quad Band forum

I'm sure there is a LOT of politics that go into releasing a phone. On the SE side, I wouldn't be surprised that if you want phone A, you have to also buy Phone Z. On the Cingular side, Cingular probably tells the manufacturer that before we sell your phone, we want it loaded with with our logos, ringtones, disabled features, sim locks etc... As long as they make quad band, or triband with 850mhz band, I'll stick ...

I bought an unlocked one a month ago. Great phone, too bad Cingular is taking so long to release this one. Sept 21st came and went and still isn't showing up online.

I paid a little more than some of the other online stores, but, the reason is that I've had EXTREMELY good results for years with compuplus.com I've order a lot of computer hardware from them, and have never had a problem. I've also ordered over the years several cell phones and never had any problems with them taking out cards etc. My W810i was from hong kong (from the firmware version revision), but was packaged with American English on the ...

coffee can mufflers that make your car sound like an outboard motor, spinning hubcaps, flames on the side of a rice burner FRONT wheel drive car, stereos that make the rust rattle on the car from 3 blocks away....this is nothing more than "pimp my ride" but with a stupid phone.

I ordered mine through compuplus.com More expensive than the others, but I've ordered lots of things from them and never had a problem. I can't tell you about the others, but I have seen lots of posts on the howard forums site with pretty positive reviews. Might want to ask the posters about those.

I was in the same boat....tired of waiting, then the final straw was I toasted my S710a. So I just bought an unlocked 810i. Went to the SE website to auto set it up with all the Cingular settings. Works GREAT! A nice bright screen, fantastic camera, good audio volume. Cingular is really missing the boat delaying this one.

in the Article: Cingular To Charge Non-GSM Subscribers forum

I guess Cingular, or any other analog or CD/TDMA outfit is suppose to just keep their old equipment running for free? It costs a LOT of money to maintain this old equipment, for just "a few" subscribers. It's a costs/profits situation, and since we live in a CAPITALIST country, then they have to weigh the costs, versus the profit. When they DON'T make money, they have to drop it. I know there are a lot of people who either ...

pretty much the same, but if you need the 850 band, go with the 810i. I got one last week, and LOVE IT!

That's the WHOLE problem with this country. No one knows how to take care of themselves! Womb to the tomb socialist crap! You can't do ANYTHING in this world without some stupid government regulation. The government schools have so dumbed down the population that they accept like a bunch of scared rabbits anything that will "protect them". Bunch of BS. Take care of yourself! If you are so stupid that you need ...

710 Screen protector
Oct 18, 2005, 7:23 PM

I used a PDA screen protector, cut to size. I measured it just inside the outer dimensions of the screen itself. Since my work requires me to use the metric system, the dimensions are in metric. 41mm X 56mm. Here is a little tip, left over from my model airplane days to make it MUCH easier to attach the protector and leave out the air bubbles. Get a cup of water, put one drop of mild dishwashing soap and mix. spray or ...

Don't base your opinion on the store model. You will get a better responce out of the people who use it. Heck, I don't even open mine up 75% of the time. I use a BT headset, and have voice promts recorded for most of the numbers stored, so when someone on the list calls, I hear their name so I don't even have to take it out of the case. About the only time I open mine ...
