Re: Had a few people already asking about switching because of this
The word "horrible" has been at the top of my vocabulary recently.
Re: Had a few people already asking about switching because of this
I remember that too. I was an original Cingular customer,
left ATT in March of 2010. ATT is a horrible company!!!
Sprint has made some bad decisions, but once they finally start refarming the Nextel spectrum, and have LTE on both the 800 & 1900 bands, things should be a lot better for Sprint.
Re: Had a few people already asking about switching because of this
These people want no part of Sprint, huh?
Re: I was referring to Apples Facetime offering.
It's so sad that both ATT & Vzn have the prime 700mhz spectrum, technologically efficient LTE, and yet they don't let it free,...I don't mean free as in $0, I mean free as in let it blossom, all the advancements that COULD come if people actually utilized their smartphones more fully.
Re: What about killing off 2G???. . .
I'm in Willimantic Connecticut right now, nothing but EDGE everywhere, same goes for Coventry Connecticut.
I can deal with it for a period of time, cause I don't live in thisarea, where I live theres solid HSPA+ ccoverage,
But in 2013, 2G shouldn't exist anywhere.
Check when you get home and get back to me.
Hopefully 2G won't exist in ALL of Connecticut by summer of 2014.
What about killing off 2G???. . .
Any news/progress regarding the killing of of 2G? In T-Mobile's entire network???
Re: Android source code.
Lol, good point!
Re: Android source code.
Good point.
What I don't get is Android source code has more to do with Google, and nothing to do with Samsung!
Re: Windows 8 on Nokia hardware DOES rock.
Dude, you should d/l this app!

Umm,...where is ISIS?...
I got the update, looked in my apps, don't see ISIS anywhere...

Re: It's funny...
I'm transferring the contents of my old 32gb card
to my new 64gb card, and it's taking foreverrrrrr!!!!!!
Re: It's funny...
The difference being there is one fruit phone to choose from, lol, whereas with Android there are numerous manufactures, low end, mid range, high end, different screen sizes, it took Apple 5yrs to come out with a phone bigger than 3.5in's.
So I say the IPhone is a culture because their all the same.
That's the reason.
Re: It's funny...
Yayyy, I'm looking forward to Tmo's Q2 results, you can include *me* as +1 to those Q2 results by the way.
Re: It's funny...
True, like the big two reeeeally need some competition,
and it having the IPhone gains Tmobile customers,
then yay!!! I'm all for Tmobile having the IPhone especially
uf it'll help them gain customers, and steal customers
from the big two.
Re: It's funny...
Lol  !!!
I'm having me a good ole time with my *Galaxy S4* by the way. Yesterday I took it to the mall and had Ghost Armor put on it, kinda like Simonizing a car, just for a phone. Cost me just under $34.
I intend on having this beast of a smartphone for a long while.
Re: It's funny...
I prefer to call it the "cult phone" than a "highly popular phone"
People lose their individuality when they have the Fruit Phone. Same old, same old.
Re: Really....
Isn't there some rule that a foreign company can't own a certain % of a U.S. telecom company? Softbank is looking to own a 70% stake in Sprint, good chunk of the company.
Re: Really....
I thought in order for the deal to be completed Sprint has to buyout Clear?
Re: This guy was for the ATT/Tmo merger!
This, I can most definitely agree with "Barak is a great public speaker but what he was saying in this case
lacks substance."
There is only one, singular reason he got reelected, cause he's cool.
This guy was for the ATT/Tmo merger!
Thank God he wasn't in charge when ATT tried buying out Tmobile! I read on Engadget that this guy felt different about the merger than Genechowski did.
Re: New Bogeyman
Once Sprint finally merges the Nextel spectrum with their still growing LTE network, things will look a whole lot better with Sprint.
More spectrum for LTE, the better, same with Tmobile.
I just can't get believe how rare it is that Sprint announces new LTE markets. If Tmobile intends to cover 100m by mid-year they will be announcing a whole lot of markets real soon.
Re: Weak body
I'm on my S4 right now, yayyyy!!!!!
The keyboard is spacious and has a dedicated number row, that's nice.
Re: LTE - 3GB's/mo
People use less than 2GB's/mo cause they don't know HOW to use their smartphone!
Either that, or their rich enough to pay for internet twice (from their cable company also).
Paying for internet once is enough for me.
LTE - 3GB's/mo
I just don't understand what use there is for LTE when people are limited to a measly 3GB's/mo. High-speed data is primarily for video, which uses more data.
Re: GPS Always on
My S4 is on vehicle out for delivery, very excited!!!
Coming from a 2+y/o Samsung Droid Charge, so this is a big upgrade for me.
Quad-core processing
2GB's RAM
Newest version of Android.
Lots of new stuff for me to experience...
Re: GPS Always on
But it doesn't always have to be on, does it? Just turn it on when needed.
Re: Does anybody use TecTiles?
Dude, you aren't T-Mobile! I'm waiting for my tracking number from T-Mobile . . .it's been almost 5hrs since I placed my order,...still no tracking number....
Re: Does anybody use TecTiles?
I already placed my S4 order over the phone on T-Mobile!!!!!
Yayyyyyy!!!
Still waiting to get my tracking number email.
Re: Forum tools and their useless advice
I've been trying out T-Mobile on a friends old MyTouch 4G for nearly 2wks, so I am doing just that.
I live in Ct, service here is solid, good signal.
Re: Pre-orders for the Blackberry z10 is on!!!!
Any NON-business people buying the Z10?
Re: Pre-orders for the Blackberry z10 is on!!!!
With phones like the GS4 & HTC One on the market, why would anyone get a Z10?
Re: Does anybody use TecTiles?
This smart scroll feature on the S4 is frinkin awesome!!!!!!

Re: To be entirely biased while claiming fairness
It's gonna be interesting to see what happens with IPhone sales in the next two years. The Galaxy S4, Note 3, and HTC One are all stealing IPhone people, even a few of the reviews for the HTC One here on PhoneScoop were of people coming from the IPhone, and I read an article saying LG plans to bring flexible displays to market by the end of this year.
People are bored with the same old, ...
Re: NFC
Ohhhhh I dream of such a day! It doesn't seem like mobile payments are coming anytime in 2013.
All I know about ISIS is it's being tested in Austin & Salt Lake City, nothing more than that.
Sure would be nice though. It would mean one less card to carry around in the wallet.
Re: Weak body
I just looked up the specs for the HTC One on Phone Scoop, it does indeed have NFC, and it's made of metal or aluminum whatever it's made of.
Re: Weak body
Gorilla Glass 3 doesn't make much of a difference?
I watched some videos on YouTube of people beating up the S4's screen, I'm fared well.
The last time I dropped a phone was Oct 2011, so I historically I don't do it very often.
Re: flexible screen and global roaming
I saw a headlines that LG us bringing flexible displays to phones by the end of this year.
Hopefully flexible displays, whether it's from LG or Samsung will help to free those stuck in the "IPhone Matrix"
Re: ne2, cotracts, and alternate upgrades
Indeed Verizon is trying to. . .
