What's more interesting to me is the whole solar aspect. With the right balence of energy expenditure and performance, hopefully in the near future we could all have phones that never need to be charge via a wall outlet. The preverbial 'charger' could be a thing of the past. When you go ok a trip or vaction 'damn I forgot my charger' would lose all meaning. But then again, I live in LA where the sun always shines so ...

Does jailbreaking your iphone somehow preclude from using ’official’ apps or updates? For example, if I get an iphone 3G and jailbreak it, when its time to do a firmwear update, connect to itunes or try and get something on the Apps Store I wont, not be able to, because of some kind of ‘Error this is not an officially recognized unit because I f’ed with it’ message; will I? Verizon is second to non in marketing, not to mention their service amazing. I’m not at all surprised they have done very well. However, my qualm still holds true, Verizon reps tend to be dolts. Getting answers to even very basic questions is frustrating, to say the least.

Tv on a cell is a must for me. VZW's Mobile tv is nice and all but Slingbox is coming to the iphone :-)...

Speaker 'Buzz'
Both the internal and ear piece speakers buzz on my unit, anyone else experience this phenomena?
Scrolling tip
When you press your finger to scroll, use even speed and make sure you keep contact with the screen. If you should lose contact with the screen the phone assumes you meant to press the link and will act accordingly. To prove my point press down directly on a link but don’t release your finger, then scroll it should scroll instead of activating the link ;)

Word over at HoFo is that you will get unlimited data with the $15 Vcast plan. You will not need to buy the $45 pda data plan. This goes for the full html data not simply the piddle wap mobile browser. However, nothing is 100% confirmed, just leaked by supposedly reliable sources :)
