Yeah, PC is great.. for email and surfing the web. Try running a real program on it like Pro Tools or Final Cut. There's a reason big production studios all use Macs. And as for playing games: grow up. Whatever dude. Windows is a weak ass OS susceptible to all kinds of headaches. I didn't say the iPhone is a status symbol of wealth. What I said was there is probably some hidden reason why you are so anti-iPhone. ...

You don't know what you're talking about. I've had an iphone for the past 3 years. It is without a doubt the absolute best device ever put out. The Apple A4 processor is lighting fast. The OS is supremely smooth. Nothing comes even remotely close. 400,000+ apps is nothing to bark at. The graphics are superior to anything out there. The games, the productivity an tools are unsurpassable. Everything else is a cheap imitation. iPhone started it all. Apple ...

"That's true for every other cell carrier as well, because most offer their own discounts and early upgrades. And as they roll out their own 4G networks and accumulate more smartphone subscribers. That perk-tightening comes on top of extra fees and higher early exit charges. Sprint, for example, already tacks on an extra $10 monthly surcharge for 4G-capable handsets. Carriers have also doubled their early termination fees, charging up to $350 for smartphones, as a way to recoup money ...

As I mentioned earlier, I recently switched to Virgin Mobile temporarily until the iPhone comes out on Verizon. I've been without VVM for a month now and it totally sucks! lol. It's super annoying hearing messages the old school method of pressing numbers, waiting for commands and skipping through messages. I never though I'd miss VVM that much. It really does make life a lot easier. Even though I'm more of a text/email person, I realize now how many ...

Actually, the prices are about the same with one key difference: YOU CAN ACTUALLY MAKE A CALL ON VERIZON. You consider a corporate monopoly a step below perfection? I can understand the antenna issue. Shot happens. They fixed it. What I don't understand is forced to use a carrier that absolutely sucks. The number of iphone users who hat AT&T nearly all of them. It's a big issue. Also, in addition to the wireless sync issue, it's a known fact that CDMA format actually draws on the battery a bit more than GSM. I found this out when my gf and I had the same exact blackberry. However, she is with ATT and I am with Verizon. Her phone battery lasted a about 2 hours longer than mine. I did some extensive research and found that CDMA does actually cut your battery time by at least 5-10%. ...

Are any of you using Verizon's Wireless Sync? I'm almost certain this is why some of you are experiencing low battery life while others are not. This program, especially the PC Monitor version where you have to download a program to your phone, draws HEAVILY battery life. I used to use it on my Moto Q back when and it literally cut the battery life in half or more. Other sync programs draw battery life just the same. Every ...

This new Omnia i910 device actually surpasses both the iPhone and The Storm. Just do a side-by-side comparison of each and you will see the features. It's a Windows Mobile OS so it's more advanced. Also, you don;t have to pay the extra monthly Blackberry fee when syncing your phone via MS Exchange. The iPhone is a let down. It has no actual talking GPS so it's basically useless when driving. It's no netter than Google Maps. The ...

Every other qwerty out there now is a lot thinner. Why does Palm insist on lagging behind? They might as well call it the new Palm "Brick" because that's what it feels like in your pocket, 20% lighter or not. Is it so hard to slim this device down? If Motorola can do it why can't Palm? The Moto Q is only available on CDMA (Verizon) thus far. I have the Q and even though it is ultra slim and nice there are a few disadvantages. 1. No cut and paste feature, which is a must for basic PDA functionality. 2. Can not be used as a modem for your laptop. 3. The so called "push" email is not real push like the blackberry.
