Re: Not Surprised at All, Here's Why
Pretty much.
I am also an at&t employee, and I agree, the SYNC dominates my non-converged device sales. I sell more SYNCs than V3's, V3xx's, CU500's, N75's, and w810's combined. Not to mention that, despite this, I get more of the Motorolas I sell returned than the Samsungs, despite the fact that I sell about two or three times as many of the latter. Samsung is dominating the American GSM market right now, no question.

Re: Contacts double on screen
i'm not sure with this particular model, but i'm pretty sure that sony ericssons are the only phones w/o OS that can hide the SIM entries and still have them saved. i believe there is an option to delete all SIM contacts and that will remove the duplicates problem, but then you lose the security of having backups. i know this was true w/ my e720 and my d600, i was using an lg cu500 and it would also ...

If you live out in the countryside and your reception is shaky as it is, I probably wouldn't recommend it, but for somebody living in the suburbs who works in the hills and chills in the city, it works great! But no, w/o the 850 it won't be released on ...
Re: Cingular questions
Cingular is sticking with GSM, trying to move away from the 850 bandwith and more toward the 1900 though I've heard. Cingular is in the works of developing "push-to-talk" on a few phones, its supposed to be released by the end of the year but time is running short lmao. The problem is that the push-to-talk will, chances are, not be compatible with its Nextel and Verizon counterparts, thus rendering it rather pointless. I know that Verizon has had ...
