Nokia SIEMENS???
I just read an article here on phonescoop and it referred to them as Nokia Siemens... did Nokia buy Siemens?
cramped keypad
seems like the double slide phone has quite a cramped qwerty, and the first row at the top (the *qwerty* one) lies a bit underneath the top of the phone and will be difficult to press... it's just what it looks like from the pics... otherwise, seems quite awesome!
Re: What the heck, no CDMA version?
CDMA is past history. GSM is present. Originals come in GSM, then comes a CDMA charity version for the US cave men.
Re: Que...
It means Samsung phones can get even thinner now.
Re: N76.
why do you say screw it up if it was especialy designed for them?
Re: 850 DOESN'T equal Cingular!!!
How do you feel about the Nokia N95?
Re: Finally, the best phone in the world
Does it have a touch screen?
And I read somewhere the N95 will be around $700.00.
I just realized...
Both pictures of phones that are not the flip phone are for the same phone, so no pic for the 8 gigabite one, I'm guessing bc it looks just the same as the previous 4 gigabite one?
Re: Upgrade to 6126/6133
Model number is lesser, display is downgraded, and the design is cheaper... so no.
Re: WOW!!
did they fix the keys? in the preview u did from one of those trade shows you guys said the keys were horrible...
I was reading a thread and it got deleted...
It was nothing too profund or anything, I was just reading through cause I've got nothing better to do at work... but it just went away? was there anything offensive there that I (unfortunately) didn't get to read??
Re: I Must Have It !!!
Please say that was sarcasm... or maybe you're just an average customer, not that there's anything wrong with it.
Will cellular surpass DSL/cable one day?
With such speeds, and such great mobile devices it wouldn't surprise me...
Or maybe it's already surpassed it and I just didn't know the statistics...
should I buy it now?
I'm in Argentina an saw it on Ebay for U$S150.00, used.
Is it worth it? I think so, it's unique and has great features, it's like a collectible... so what would you do?
Re: Features
Reading the threads here (and I've read a lot, I have a lot of free time at work) I see people want stereo bluetooth, edge or 3g, QVGA display, lately it also must be thin or have an unique design.
Some features become standard and I don't see them in this phone... no photo caller ID or custom ringtones, no mussic player.. I guess FM radio would too much too, not really standard, I know... but this phone is good ...
Re: Features
I'm confused, I did not see "music player" in the feature list... :?
And like I said, big ones are there but no much more.
Re: Oooooo
No wonde rit's so thin, it has NO features!!!
Sure it's got the big ones, good screen, camera, bluetooth, edge... but does it do anything else? mmmm no.
Re: MMMM>>>>>>>
Out of all contries you had to say China? which is like the biggest and richer country ever? they could by small countries, sure, but saying china spoiled the joke, it's just not funny.
Re: I miss the hidden D pad
two birds, same stone, they wanted it to look like an Ipod I guess...
Re: whats in a name?
how much more difficult can it be to market a phone called "the chocollate" in the US than to do it in Europe? It's less sleek bc they wanted it to hade the D pad to make it look like an Ipod, which I think is a mistake; not a big one though, 'cause people will like it, but the original look was better.
Re: whats in a name?
And now you are thinking like a marketing pro! 8)
Re: nobody seems to like the name...
exactly.
Also, it's not about the color, it could be white and it would be white chocolate, my point is who cares, it about the buttons looking like chocolate squares anyway right?
Re: nobody seems to like the name...
Tell that to the people I have to honor my extended warranties for...
"...what do you mean chewing on my phone is considered Misuse?? It's the CHOCOLATE PHONE! REPLACE MY PHONE NOW!! I WANT TO SPEAK WITH YOUR SUPERVISOR!!!!"
oh God no....
Re: whats in a name?
Aromatherapy! the new genius stroke in the marketing field!
Re: whats in a name?
Scented phones! GENIUS!
nobody seems to like the name...
Why? Everybody here seems to hate "Chocolate"... I like it. The down side would be that's it's misleading, bc you cannot eat your phone, but it is a catchy though.
Anyway, get ready, you'll hear it every where, and they will MAKE YOU like it.
Re: Who cares
Fusic's cheap plasticky look is my exhibit A, CDMA or not.
Re: Who cares
no, LG does.
Re: HOW DIRTY DOES THE TITLE/TOPIC SOUND!!!!
I don't get it.. dirty? why?
Mistake..?
"LG is third largest handset manufacturer and Korea and was most likely attempting to acquire KTFT to reclaim its number two spot rather than for any specific technological or financial benefits." :paranoid:
shouldn't it say "LG is third largest handset manufacturer IN Korea..." ??????
Re: Cheap piece of plastic...
It might be well built and hold up just fine, still it looks like a toy. Unlike the SE W300, which looks very cute yet plasticky, but more serious than this LG thing...
Cheap piece of plastic...
Anybody else thinks that's what it looks like??
W950?
I want it! release date anyone??? :-)...
Small and girly...
...or big and girly, LOL.... that's my opinion on all Samsungs... :D
Re: Where the hell is the K790a on this website?
I think the phones have to be announced for the US first, before phonescoop adds them... there's a preview of it, I think it's an "in depth" article on one of those trade shows earlier this year (3gsm maybe? CES perhaps?), that's all.
Re: Nokia RAZR!
ooops---- I found a "flaw" (not really, but its not the perfect phone now that I know this...) no flash for the camera!
MI:3 has the N92!
Just saw the movie, and agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) uses the Nokia N92, and is not as massive as people say it is! I mean yeah it's big, but it's not a monster...
Pictures show the N93 is slightly bigger, so N93 is still ok and usable in my book! And if Tom Cruise uses it, then it's good for me too!
Nokia RAZR!
Wiiiii...
The bottom antenna reminds me of the Razr...
Not as thin, right? but who cares, I'll have a fatter phone in exchange for some reliability!
And that display, wow!
Re: Dear god...
with optical zoom? :?
Re: Live report coming soon
OK, so you won't talk about the N72 'cause it's cheap, but not even a pic?
