Hey, am i just missing this in the article? But dosen't this phone have a radio? If it does, how well did it work?

I was reading a magazine last night and it had the price for the phone set at $800 US. Is there a price on this yet? I am seeing sites that sell the phone for about $500, but SE told me that they are from over seas and therefore carry a limited warranty, and if anything were to happen I would need to ship it to the originating country. Do you know if that is at all true?

Does this phone definitely not support stereo bluetooth? Is there a sound when you take a picture? Are the menus laggy like the S700series? And last, does this phone do the new SE auto connect thing with the bluetooth?

First off I love the features! 4GB, 3.5mm headset jack, stereo FM radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB 2.0, 2 megapixel camera, speakerphone, and EDGE! Sounds amazing! But the phone is so ugly... And what is up with no quad band? Leaving all US users out in the cold.

When I talked to the SE rep, they said if you go to the site somewhere you give your phone number and SE will send you program to download and the program configures everything for you.

It should be, it has the 850 band, I even called Sony earlier today to find out when they are going to be officially available here to buy, and there is no official word, but the guy said probably in a week or so.

You can buy it now at wirelessimports.com, just almost $600, kindda expensive

I have a 60gb ipod and I use about 45gb of space on it for now (just music). I love my ipod, but sometimes I don't want to bring it everywhere, like the gym, and I would bring my phone. I was thinking previously of getting a nano, but if I can get this, then I'll skip the nano and go for the phone, that's my argument... :D

By different design you must mean ugly... I like the nokia phones for the features, but they don't come anywhere near SE for design

This phone is nearly perfect! I can only think of 2 things that would make it better. A fold out keyboard and wifi like the Nokia E70. But still this thing looks awesome, which is why I would pick it over the nokia, plus it has an FM radio. :P

Looks like the E70-2 is for US, and E70-1 is not gonna work here. I don't really care as long as i got my 850 band. But Now i feel split about my w810i...

Where to buy without a contract.

Is there anyway to buy this phone without a contract? I have an s710a and might want to upgrade. But my only problem is there is no memory card, that sux. I really like the w800, but since there is no 850 band, i guess i'll get what i can. Thanx in advance! :P

I tried the maps, and it is so cool! :D I guess i should get the unlimited data plan though. :( But this is such a cool program to have on your phone, and my satellite images did work BTW

Hey, has anyone here tried it since it has become available for the phone? I really wanna try it, but i want to know if the frame rate is as low as the demos look on other phones. BTW, i love my s710a, but i would love a w800, but since they arn't going to make an american (850) version i guess i'll stick with my s710a, thanx for any responses i get
