Just realized that the Samsung SGH-T749 is on the Java Platform. What are the capabilities of the phone using Java. What are the positives? What are the negatives? How is it different from the Android OS?

Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight

in the Samsung forum

25 Oct 2010 Just purchased the Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight for a backup. I have a couple of questions and hopefully someone can answer them. 1. How can you lock the phone with password protect verses the side lock option that allows anyone to open and lock without password? The applications are on lock but not getting in the phone after powered up. I have the PIN and Password function active on startup but it isn't required after I power up. 2. ...

Don't switch to T-Mobile!

beyondmydestiny: We have had T-Mobile for over six years. The pricing plans I have to admit are the best of the carriers that offer true unlimited talk and text. Sprint you can only call mobile and then have to watch your minutes. I have been seeking another carrier because T-Mobile coverage is horrible to say the least. If you are in a building forget about it. We travel two weeks every two months and travel all over the United States. ...

What Carrier compares to T-Mobiles Plans?

There is not one person I know that currently has another carrier that doesn't have something negative to say about their carrier. Does anyone know of another major carrier that has identical pricing More or Flexplans like T-Mobile? We have to admit the $70 unlimited Talk and Text really works for our business. We can't be limited to calling cell phones and watching minutes. We need unlimited talk and text. A unbiased suggestion is requested. Thanks

Not understanding why anyone would be upset with a paying customer desiring the best value for their money and wanting to pay the least. You are not paying their bill. That is the same geek reasoning for paying the highest price for features and then the carrier rolls out a less expensive plan with additional features. Would the geek continue to pay the higher plan price. With that intelligence I guess he would. A Ivy league education can be purchased ...

Re: T-Mobile Charging Flexpay customers 35 to lower payment

T-Mobile needs to have this in their terms of service. I didn't locate a migration fee in any paperwork. We have fifteen accounts for our new business and Flex-pay provided our business security against sales representatives misuse, quitting, getting terminated or being replaced. That would have been a nightmare to fix. Using Flex-pay was the best decision we could have made. Our company using flex-pay had nothing to do with personal credit. We are personally rated very good for ...

cellphoneguy: acdc1a: MrGoofball: You three assume that every T-Mobile Flex-pay customer have derogatory credit. My personal credit is 690 FICO. They tell me that is a very good score. I opened a new business and they would allow me to have fifteen representatives on one account on a new business and I wasn't going to endanger my good credit with at least ten people I didn't know. I am very fortunate I used Flex-pay as an option because I had ...

Overcoming bad T-Mobile Customer Service

T-Mobile outsourcing customer service to India is a nightmare. One of the three ways to overcome T-Mobile's poor outsourcing decision are: 1. Choose the spanish option. (The bi-lingual spanish/english customer service rep have a better command of english) 2. Visit a corporate T-Mobile retailer. 3. Change carriers

BananaORiley: Do you work for T-Mobile? That was a customer service response to not waiving a $35 dollar fee for a customer that pays $125 per month for seven months. I had to find out about the new rate plan when getting a family member service. Now that question still stands does anyone know how to get this $35 waived without changing carriers? All the mobile carriers have customer service issues. It is which of the lesser evils will a ...

tmo32 posted: but if a customer has a discount program ,which 8 out of 10 customers do, then there is no fee. We have a unlimited talk and text at $125.00 per month. The migration to the lesser plan will cost us $35 and T-Mobile refuses to waive fee. What steps do you know that waives this $35 fee. The new plan does saves us $35 per month after we pay the $35 to save us $35.

Ptp713: The best way to circumvent the contract termination fees is by using the Flexpay service. The only issue is that with the new T-Mobile plans pose to a Flexpay customer is they are subject to a$35 transfer fee. And that sucks. If anyone knows a way to have that $35 fee waived please let us know.

T-Mobile's new plans provide unlimited services for the same price which expands beyond the MyFaves. No need for a MyFaves with unlimited voice and text for lower or same prices.

T-Mobile Charging Flexpay customers 35 to lower payment
Oct 29, 2009, 6:24 PM
in the T-Mobile forum

It is unbelievable that T-Mobile is attempting to charge Flex-pay customers $35 to change their plans to the new less expensive plans with more features. Does anyone have any ideas other than changing carriers? This account is a business account and they still don't respect receiving $125 per month.
