Review
I don't know if you get the credit you deserve for your work, Eric. I've been reading since 2005, and your dedication to the finest details has never wavered. There are a gazillion similar sites like yours, but your unbiased professionalism has always kept me here.
I guess I just wanted to properly thank you. Your hard work really is appreciated.
Re: So does it have a MicroSD Card Slot?
From everything I've read, it does indeed support MicroSD Cards. A nice addition for those of us who missed the feature on the original Maxx.
Re: Buyer Beware!
Wow, that's amazing; sorry to hear. It makes one question whether this "loophole" is true amongst other vendors' specials (i.e., Radio Shack - I believe they offer/offered a red variant of popular devices throughout the years).
With your longevity in Verizon, it amazes me that nothing was offered in such an odd situation. Truly an unfair, and bizarre, complication to get caught up in. Thank you for sharing, as hopefully others may avoid what you have gone ...

Re: Haven't these kid centric phones failed every time?
That was it! I was trying to remember the name as I was reading the threads.
I was thinking the same thing, though. Nothing seems to be working when it comes to kid-friendly devices. Maybe a back-pack with built-in GPS and charging cables...?
Re: Whew...
Wow, the heavy sarcasm totally escaped that guy...
Re: Wow, Bad to the Bone
I generally hate bloatware (and usually root for the sole purpose of removing them), but these high-end devices have so much room/RAM that it's no longer a necessity and rather a minor annoyance.
Thank You.
Another wonderfully thorough review. Maybe this isn't the place for it, but I don't know if you quite realize how much we appreciate the hard work you put forth in the site.
I've been in the industry for 11 years, and almost every day I direct my customers here. We look at the phones together, combing over all of your detailed specs and reviews to help decide on the best device for their needs. You have helped ...
New 5s
We had a gentleman come in a few days ago who had this issue and they replaced his old iPhone 5 with a new 5s. He requested the replacement 5 be the same color as his previous one (silver). Not sure if a shortage of older silver models was the cause of him receiving a silver 5s, but I can attest that is what he received.
Re: Typical Apple Language...
Hit the nail on the head!
Re: WE ARE NOT AT&T!!! No Really....
Man, you can't be serious. That's either extreme trolling or sheeping.
So I guess Virgin Mobile was copying Verizon by your point-of-view, right? I mean, they're both red, so naturally they wanted people to think they were Verizon... I actually went into a Pizza Hut yesterday because they have the same colors as Verizon.
Give me a break.
Re: Go to XDA website .....
Thanks for the info. Well definitely check it out.
Re: Phone is a fail as a whole
You would think by now some company would have released an expandable memory device that plugs into the micro USB port. I'm just not a big fan of cloud storage, but I suppose it works in a pinch.
Re: I Don't Get It!
Hit the nail on the head... This is the treatment you get when you try to strong-arm your way through business.
Re: Oops.
:D :D :D
Awesome.
Makes Sense
That $0 plan sounds intriguing... /;|
Re: This drives me nuts.
Agreed. I love the context-sensitive Menu button. Love how it works across all apps and how it is universally functional.
Sad to hear this new direction...
Re: This is probably not due to customer feedback
Exactly. Verizon's response is littered with absolute BS.
That was quick...
That was one of Zeman's main concerns with the Nexus in his review from just a few days ago, so it's nice to see this come out so quickly.
Re: Galaxy Nexus looks like it's gonna rock-Has almost everything you'd want
Agreed. This thing is a beast.
I, too, was initially turned off by the lack of an SD card slot on the original Nexus 4G, but with so many ways to store things online, it's kind of a trivial gripe at this point.
Re: Just 1 Question!
+1!!
Re: iphone sold out
Sup J-Dogg, long time. I can't wait for the Nexus either. That thing is gonna rock hardcore.
We just got the iPhone here at Sprint a few weeks back. I'm not a fan of the thing, as I think Android runs circles around it.
Re: I'm on the fence.
"It's not like they're crippling it to keep Android away from you. If you want real Android, get the Score. If you don't care, get the Chorus. Cricket and ZTE are giving you that choice, so I don't see the downside here."
That's a really good point. For me, however, a resistive touch screen and the lack of Wi-Fi immediately leave this device dead in the water.
I was initially very surprised to learn these aspects of the Chorus. ...
Re: How do you use the voice custom on this phone?
Yes, you can use as ringtones if memory serves me correctly. You can send videos and the max is 15 minutes.
Re: I'm not gonna lie
Thanks for the info. Just out of curiousity, how is the menu? Moto's menus have always been one of my major gripes. Any improvements? Thanks again.
Re: Will the RAZR just DIE please!!!
Normally I would agree wholeheartedly, but as far as looks go... this looks to be quite nice. We shall see in time...
Re: Please let me expand on my original post
I always wondered about that as well. Thanks, will54880.
Re: yeah..but...
Not yours, the first one. And you're right, not everyone wants to spend an exuberant amount on a phone.
Re: yeah..but...
What does that have to do with anything? Wow. Where do thoughtless comments like this come from?
Re: Seriously...
Well, they said the phone is fairly basic otherwise, but I love the "classic" look. VERY nice design, in my eyes.
Marbl 2.0
The TNT! looks to be a Marbl with an external screen, which is arguably one of the worst phones in history. Hopefully for Virgin Mobile users this is not the case.
I personally like the Arc's design. Certainly is sleek and nice-looking, but as we all know, the specs are the key factor. Anyone know any more info on these?
Re: Update..wonder why
Yeah, Sprint sucks. I jumped off of that sinking ship before it was too late. Verizon still reigns supreme and I can't wait till we get it in this area. I personally use nTelos, and they actually aren't that bad, aside from a skimpy phone selection. Stay away from Sprint. Period.
Re: Year-Long Hiatus???
Hmm, you got me then...
Re: NOOOOOOO!!!!!
Ooh-hoo-hoo! Touche', my friend, touche'.
Re: Year-Long Hiatus???
I thought they were referring to LG's messaging phones... But I thought their latest Verizon one came out sooner than a year ago...?
Re: You people are IDIOTS
Well put. It's stupid for people to try and throw racism into the picture here. This is a stupid phone idea. Bottom line.
Re: NOOOOOOO!!!!!
Well, I think the biggest thing with Sanyo is structure and lasting quality. I personally can't stand their designs. It seems like every phone they roll out with has the looks of the early, bulky handsets... It's time for a change, but I'm not too sure Kyocera is that change they need.
PEBL2?
Looks a lot like it, but a lot sharper too. I like what I see so far.
Re: If Only...
With the Beyonce phone, you never know what we'll get next...
Re: NOOOOOOO!!!!!
So long Sanyo. If Kyocera can maintain Sanyo's innards and apply their styling, then good for them, but reality says otherwise.
