I was actually pleased to see the design. I have the Env Touch right now and like the looks of it. I was pleased too to see the later pics where they changed it to black as it was going to be mostly silver originally. I know it sounds stupid, but I like mostly black with silver accents. I hate gold, which is what kept me from getting the Droid when it first came out ...

Personally, I am not a Motorola fan, but a huge LG fan and I have already pre-ordered the Ally. I feel like it was worth the wait, and I have been waiting a long time! You only have to wait for the Ally until Thursday, or pre-order now.

IT IS THE PLASTIC!! It's not the same plastic as on the inside screen, it's thinner and fits the screen with no overlap! You need to peel it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You did know that there is a plastic film over the front screen when you recieve it, right? It does appear that the front is scratched when you take it out of the box because of this film over it. It's not the normal plastic covering on phones, it fits the screen perfectly and you can hardly tell it's a plastic film until you peel it.

I definately reccomend the EnV! I get new new phones all the time because I get bored, so rarely use the same one for long, but have been using the EnV for awhile now, even tried others recently but quickly went right back to it. BTW, yes, 4/24 is my birthday! Great phone!

There seems to be a glitch that makes this happen sometimes. I've noticed it mostly happens after using the camera and that turning the phone off and back on will fix this. So, if you want it that way, try using the camera and see if it stays on after that.

You have to flip up to dial if the number is not in your contacts or you aren't using the voice command feature, but then you can flip it back down to talk normally. That's one reason why I'm returning mine today. Really sucks when your calling somewhere where you have to enter numbers during your call. Pain in the butt.

Your mobile number (obviously) and password on the account (last four digits of the account holder's ss#) and then just the ESN number, which can be found under the battery on your phone.

Different phones/batteries are different. Some have red or pink lines/marks that dissappear when wet, others have white that turn color when wet. So, it depends on which one you have.

Actually, the $249.99 price is whith contract. Full retail went UP recently, not down, from $319.99 to $349.99, so I wouldn't hold your breath on the price dropping anytime soon.
Also, if you aren't eligible until 2009, that would mean you just upgraded????
If you are at least one year into your contract and are the main line on a higher rate plan, you are probably eligible for a special upgrade, but that ...

I don't think it's a bad price for a case. I've paid over $30 before for ones I've really liked and wanted. I probably won't be getting this one, though, because I'm not a fan of the plastic covers, which is why I never get a fitted leather case for my phones. I prefer a pouch. For those who don't mind it, though, I think it looks like a pretty nice case.

Placed an order yesterday morning, paid for Priority Overnight, so it should have arrived today by 3p.m. When it didn't I called to get tracking number to find out why it hadn't come. The rep said they don't have overnight, they have standard, which is about a week for $9.99 and Priority, which is 3 days and cost $12.99. I explained to him that they have two different ...
