Re: HTC Pro...
It is the 20th, just found out today, and got to play with it. :-)... I want it.
Re: Incorrect Info USCC is the first
I'm going to be happy to sell this phone. Alltel's lineup is starting to get a lot better. Nowhere near ATT and Verizon but it's getting better
Top 5 butchered names, I've heard customers actually say.
5. SIMS card. I need a new SIMS card.
4. Nukia. I want to see that new Nukia ya'll got.
3. Blueberry. What about that Blueberry, what's it do.
2. Samasung Flipper. Me: I welcome to AT&T how can I help you.
Hoodrat: Yeah, I want to buy that Samasung Flipper; the Sync or whatever it is.
Me: You mean the "Samsung" Sync.
Hoodrat: Yeah, yeah, yeah the Samasung.
Me: No, it's Samsung.

Phones for Elderly people, Would you agree?
I'm sure this has already been posted already, but wouldn't many of you Sales Reps/Consultants agree that AT&T could stand to make a decent amount of money if they got with a manufacturer and had a phone for older people made?
It would have to be Nokia, because many of them that come in have an old arse Nokia that they swear by. Simply a phone that would make it easier to text, and place a call. ...
Re: Motorola Sidekick copy
We shouldn't have to show them a Pearl though. The cell phone industry is full of competition copying eachother, so why hasn't ATT got on the ball with Verizon, and T-Mobile. That Motorola Sidekick, would have been perfect for ATT.
Motorola Sidekick copy
WHy is it that we at AT&T can't get a device like this. Something directly marketed towards teens A 13 year old and her mom came in to my store the other day, The teen had a blackberry, and sent 19,000 SMS messages. Good thing they had the unlimited plan, or the mom would have had to sell the house to pay the bill, I digress...
Does anyone on this board who has been working ...
When will AT&T get on board
Too me it makes no sense for Motorola to release a Sidekick copy for T-Mobile, when they could of brought something like that to AT&T. I sale for the company, and usually their attempt at selling a SMS device somewhat like the sidekick has failed.
I get customers coming in all the time looking for something like this for their teens, and it seems retarded to sell them a blackberry.
Re: oh how naive does google think we are...
Do you have something to hide? Are you searching Google for the average weather temps in Iran? What do you have to hide, and why does it bother you so much. I think this should be a refreshing change in the celluer industry. An industry ofttimes filled with dull designs, and repetitive garbage. Hopefully they give us something different
Re: oh how naive does google think we are...
Besides it feeling nice on my skin, nothing at all.
Re: I was going to get the iphone then i found out...
It has a touch screen Keybourd, why do you need a removeable battery?, It has a SIM slot, No need for an SD lot, it come with good memory, what the hell do you need a mail in rebate for? Either you have the money or you don't. No PDA device has insurance. Look amn despite what you think,a nd don't know this phone will sell on hype alone.
Re: I was going to get the iPhone, but then I found out...
   Holy cap that was funny!
Re: Can Someone who works for ATT please explain?
Tell me this then, which company wouldn't let Apple run the Show. ATT posts a rev of 7.3 billion compared to Apple INC 19.3. Apple is known worldwide. Yes they have ATT by the balls, but the same would happen if it was Verizon, T-Mobile, or Sprint. Shut-up
Re: Can Someone who works for ATT please explain?
Re: Can Someone who works for ATT please explain?
BS. T-Mobile does charge an Upgrade fee, So does Sprint too.
Re: SIM Card?
Yes the Iphone comes with it's own SIM card, and that has to be activated. You won't be able to use your current SIM card with it.
Re: SIM Card?
The I-phone has a SIM card. You won't be able to take the sim from your other phone and just place it in the I-Phone. The I-phone data feature is $20, and the phone CANNOT be used at all without it. Customer will have to activate the phone with the IMEI at home, where they will add the $20 feature. So if the phone is ever stolen no one will be able to use it. ...
Re: Sprint, No... Cingular, No... Verizon.... Mabye
Dude, Cingular is getting rid of their CDMA service, by 2008. Cingular is out of the question. Verizon is buying them.
What about Chad?
Verizon WILL buy Altell, but what saddens me is that Chad will lose his job. Will someone please think about the Chad!
Re: Finally! The low quality of LG with the high price of Prada!
 You said LG makes "awesome quality phones", and you have the audacity to call this person a stupid little kid. First fix your grade school lingo, and come on here sounding like a big boy; not someone that sounds like they just left the sixth grade. Second, do some research. LG has long been known to have inferior phones. Don't be fooled by the likes of the Chocolate, and all, LG is crap. ...
I don't get it
 Yes it looks very nice, and I canot wait to actually play with it in person, but with all the techniological advances with PDa's and Celluer phones, why is it that the best camera type they can put on most phones is a 1.3 megapixel?????. I know you don't buy a phone for the camera, but a decent 3 megapixel would be nice.
Please stop
 Tis is soo sad. The RAZR was cool when I first bought it for $500. When Walmart starts selling a phone, it's time to get a new one. What they are doing is the eqivalent of Honda selling me a 2004 civic, but with new features for the same price of a 2007 model. I hate that they continue to sell this phone, stop, please, for the love of God stop
Re: Not really that impressive
What the hell are you talking about, "preety rare?" When I was working at T-Mobile, we had numerous people with sidekick issues coming in the store. I've switch a large amount of those people to the Blackberry 7105t,(at the time) The OS on the Sidekick is incredibly slow, and going back to the issues, three days after spenging a lot of money on the LE Sidekick, I had a hardware issue. And guess what...I didn't ...
Re: Special Edition
No, Just a different color, same slow OS and same terrible camera.
Re: Discontinued?
It's not discontinued per-say. T-Mobile raised the price of the Sidekick 2, at the same time pushing back the release date of the SK3. I guess this is to keep people from buying one, I don't know, but that is what I was told when working there.
Re: Don't Dare Over React!
 Why are people arguing over service, cell phones, and companies. I've worked in this business for a while, and here is the truth. No "one" cell phone company is great. I work for T-Mobile, which has the best customer service in the industry, but I'll admit, our service is bad. Pay attention to that statement, because that is preety much how every company works. SOmething great, yet something Bad. Cingular may be ...
Re: UMA Information
A samsung phone will be released sometime in the second quater, that will have UMA, the MDA, and SDA will not. I cannot recall the model at this time, all I know is that it will be a slider like the T809, I beleive it will be the T709, which I hope will replace the t809
Re: T-Mobile ought to add this phone to their line up
Actually we are getting this phone too. It is going to be silver, and it will be replacing the 6010, on both carriers. As for our line up, thankfully we have many more phones coming out in the first and second quater. Including some new pda's. I grow tired of looking at the same phones, but trust me when I tell you that, that's about to change :)
Re: Does anyone know if Cingular is going to get the Pink RAZR?
 what a joke, I work for T-mobile, and we were told the Magenta razr WAS EXCLUSIVE!!! Do people even know that the new RAZR V3i is coming out shortly, then the RAZR V3X after that, don't let Motorola rip you off, as soon as you buy any color RAZR, just remember that the new RAZR's are coming out soon, it would just be a waste of money, no matter the color.
Re: T-mobile just keeps looking better and better
I am so glad that we are getting more devices like these. I admit that T-mobile is slow to get new phones, but I also think that it is better than Cingular, who puts out phones, as quickly as they discontinue them.
Re: Can't use MP3 as ringtones? True/False?
As with most samsungs you cannot use MP3's as ringtones, but I beleive the Samsung dude told me that finally, you can. I might be wrong on this one though.
Re: lol. About Time!
 What a joke, Lucid you big Dummy. CIngular is not about to run anything over but their own feet. 50 million plus customer are not going to want PTT, 48,856,125 million of those people think that PTT is redundant, and stupid. Then the first PTT phone is an LG? You're joking right. Lacking Greatness, has perhaps the worst cell phones in the industry.
They are the equivalant to cow sh#$. Second, ...
Re: Trust me....Great Phone
I also have big hands, and unlike the P777, which had rather small buttons, I find that the buttons on this phone has good size buttons. To me this phone is quite comperable, if not better than the V330 and the V360. It has Bluetooth, Quad-band, and has EDGE capabilities. For a Samsung I was quite, quite suprised. I think that it will be a good buy.
Re: unlock for cingular
 That's true, but why would you want to be with Cingular, I mean honestly, they have the worst Customer service, constant network outages, above many other things.
Re: Video viewing question ...
Now that I think about it, it was in landscape mode.
Trust me....Great Phone
:) I have actually gotten to play with this phone, as I am a T-Mobile rep. A Samsung rep came to our store, and was showing it off, preety much letting us view it before we sell it. The Samsung guy was actually watching a Lord of the Rings segment on it, great picture quality! Hopefully this will be on eof many phones to come to T-Mobile's line-up, which I have to admit, is quite subpar.
Re: which handsets?
Exactly, phones are like cars, wait 6 months before you buy a new one. But I know we are getting phones from Sierra, HTC and Novatel to name a few
Re: They stopped teh GoPhone?
:) :) Thank you God, TDMA prepaid phone =hassle for us Cing reps. I cannot wait for the day we release the TDMA technology. Sometimes people call in with bricks and get upset that they don't work.
Re: ummm hello...?
You're right about that. For example the v551, as a tech agent for CIngular, it would take forever to assist customers with the pairing process. If it paired at all.
Re: impressed with the new SE line
:) :) Thank you there is a god. I had a major issue with the software on my S710 and trying to download MP3's to it. My computer would shut down. I hope they fixed that. I am really looking foward to getting this phone, and the new PTT we have coming out. Cingular is going to be the company to be with soon. UMTS, PTT, and SE what a lethal combination. ...
Re: R2A016 firware cingular
No you can't. The games are locked, and therefor uncapable of being transferrable.
