i've heard that if u can supply your own compatible device, bring it into a store & they can set you up on a plan that wouldn't require a contract.. is this true or false?... perhaps somebody from sales could shed some light on this

the tricell is quite effective (the sticker that goes on the battery)... ive heard many truckers that swear by it & love it

hmm... thats odd.. it does show perfect coverage for that area, as well as 5 towers, all functional, within 3 miles obviously perfect coverage is not what your getting tho it's quite a Delmar indeed.. your only chance of getting the ETF waived is through a supervisor... my advice.... call cust care, dont ask for a supervisor right away, instead explain the situation to the rep politely even tho this is very upsetting to u im sure... then after u've explained ...

agreed... if it was my decision i'd waive it too... that type of a decision can only b made by a supervisor with some athoritah tho

yea there are dead zones, no network is perfect.. it's unfortunate that u are having this problem, but chances are cingular wont let u cancel without the ETF... verizon is the only other intelligent choice... i work for cingular, but i cant deny that verizon does have great coverage

i think what u guys fail to realize is that u dont need to have good credit to get on a contracted plan... u simply need to supply a compatible phone yourself then your not required to even sign a contract.. u can have a contract plan without the contract
