Re: Question...
Settings & Tools...Tools...Voice Command...then choose the one you want.
Any ideas?
Any inside info on the next 3g or 3g+ LG phone will be coming to Verizon? CTIA is in April. Hopefully there will be some news during the show. Hopefully they will come out with one that doesnt have a limit on video capture times...other than memory capacity.
Re: firmware upgrades
We can only hope and pray. That would make the phone sooo much better. Not that it isnt already a great phone but that would be the icing on the cake for me.
Re: How do I transfer my phonebook to my computer?

BITPIM
You will have to talk to the Bitpim gurus on this site. I personally do not use it but there are hundreds on here that live a die by Bitpim. Good luck.
Re: a good question cant get answered
Actually it is $48.50 + $4.81 for 3 day shipping. Newegg most definitely has the lowest prices accompanied by good quality service and products.
Re: How can I take .............
Also why use a middleman. Just email the pix directly to your email.
Re: Where is the left quotation mark?
Now that was hilarious. I am as bright as a tire iron I guess LMAO. Thanks for the enlightenment.
Re: V Cast not updating...
The news updates every cpl hrs or so. When you go to diff areas it will tell you how often that area updates.
Re: Where is the left quotation mark?
Yes or no is there a left quotation mark? Thanks.
Re: a good question cant get answered
Yes the 1gb will work fine.
Where is the left quotation mark?
I have had this phone for a month or so (upgraded from the 8100)and was trying to place a sentence in quotation marks for the first time the other day and couldn't seem to find the left quotation mark. Any help greatly appreciated.
Re: BLUETOOTH FACT or FICTION
I just think that BT headsets are meadache than heaven. I am going to wait a while. Maybe then the makers of these headsets will get it right. Thanks Mort...Phone...steve and the rest.
BLUETOOTH FACT or FICTION
First off, I no longer have the 8100 nor do I have a Bluetooth headset, but I do notice that over the last 6 or 7 months I have read WAY more complaints than I have compliments about BT headsets. Some people LOVE them only to sing a new tune a week or mont later. The main reason I havent purchased one yet is that they just dont seem to work. Between this site, HoFo, and personal friends there ...
Re: To Mary424
I see...I am sort of a fellow hopper. I have the 9800 now. I usually keep them for a yr but I have had the 8000...5/13, the b100 7/23, and now the 9800 1/25. Now do you still do the EBAY sell make the profit and then get a new one? I used to just buy the new one outright but I had problems with my 8100...the damn mp3 player in shuffle mode static ringtone thing. Sad part ...
Re: To Mary424
Mary I am curious did you return the 8100 or are you afflicted with the disease called Phone Hopping? LOL. I have moved on the the 9800 and have had great results with it so far.

you mentioned you watched a 20 minute video. I thought you could only watch short video clips with this phone. I don't have this phone yet so I don't know.
I watch 30 min tv shows with mine.
Re: Flip screen broken....
I dont think switching parts will work. But I have heard that as long as the CS Rep can call your phone then it is possible to have the insurance placed on the phone. Now by no means am I saying that this is the honest and moral thing to do but it hear it works.
I think we have all had our bad experiences
I can relate fully. But on the whole I think most of my experiences have been at least decent.
Re: What about the Jabra C120s
Yes they do. Sorry about that I should have said that as a statement. I was letting some of the others know that they work.
Re: ?
When you order the phone the option exists to not subscribe to it. Even if it is on your phone a phone call to CS will remove it. Good luck.
How do I....
Anyone know how to set the phone to ring ONLY in your ear when you have the headset on? My old Kyocera had a specific menu option for that. With my old 8100 I had to just put the phone on vibrate and plug the headset in and the phone would only ring in my ear. I like that feature and used it often. Thanks.
What about the Jabra C120s
I have the Jabra C120s and they worked great on my 8100. Do they work on the 9800?
Re: RINGER VOLUME
MP3 Gain works also.
Re: Vx-8100 or RAZR
Be sure to also ask this question at the RAZR forum also. That way you are getting both sides of the coin. Unfortunately most of the responses you will recieve in this forum will be weighted towards the 8100. INCLUDING mine. 8100 is an awesome phone.
Re: software update
I still dont get why people need the phone closed to use the speakerphone. Isnt it usually on a table or other flat surface when using the speakerphone? I could see if the phone was on your hip when using the it. That would be annoying for it to be open on ones hip. Is that why people want it to be able to be used while closed?
Re: Does the new update fix....?
Mary I had that problem again the other day. I usually dont hit the snooze but I noticed it wasnt there when it went off. Very strange. Seems to be tottaly randon. See ya.
Re: UPDATE V.5
I dont get what the big deal is abou the phone being closed on speaker anyway? Someone let me know why this is of the utmost importance. And yes I am being sarcastic
Re: H700 solved all my bluetooth problems!
What did you pay for it?
Re: antennas
OUCH!!! :o
Re: Recording Phone Conversations
phonephetish said:
But what about without any headset, wire or wireless. I mean just using the phone regular, can you listen to voice memos, but not through the speaker?
Yes you will be able to hear the other person when recording them during a conversation whether it be with a wired headset or through the phone itself. I have no clue about the bluetooth listening.
Can they make up their minds?
What do you all make of this?

Re: WTF!!!! Mp3 help
Check the length of the titles of the songs. They have to be shorter than 47 characters. Thats including the *.mp3*
Re: Anybody heard anything about the Q?
Confirmation dates? VZW has those? LOL!!
Re: Tiny scratches?
But that would entail there not being a case on the phone. My screen has plastic over it when encased
Re: 9800 screen
The 9800s outer screen is either the same size or smaller than the outer screen on the 8100. As for the internal screens the 9800s is vigger definitely.
Re: Turning off tones when sending passwords
Thats a good question because I am the same way. All my tones are off except for when dial a number with a pause in the saved entry...such as passwords or exts.
