If its the same phone as ATT 8125 that I have I use a bluetooth GPS (any Bluetooth GPS should work mine was around $80). I use Delorme Street Atlas and a golf scorecard / GPS program called mscorecard with my 8125 and bluetooth GPS. Works GREAT.

Is anyone using Microsoft Voice Command? 1 - does it work thru the wired stereo earbuds 2 - do I have to have my phone unlocked and press one of the buttons (like voice dialing) to initiate a voice command? thanks for any responses

I recently got the Cingular 8125 and love it. One thing I do miss from my Nokia 6620 is when the keys were locked I could hold the button on the headphone wire down and it would activate voice dialing without me having to fumble for the phone while driving to unlock the keys. It seems the 8125 (or any WM5 phone?) has to have the keys unlocked first and the button on the PHONE itself pressed to ...

6102 data cable (DKU-5?)

I've seen the DKU-5 data cable listed on E-Bay for the Nokia 6102. The NokiaUSA shows a CA-42 cable are these 2 cable numbers refrence the same cable? My DKU-2 doesnt seem to work on this phone.

last question first, yes you can move contacts straight from PC to phone (and phone to PC) using Nokia PC Suite V6.5 and provided your contacts are in OUTLOOK or OUTLOOK EXPRESS and you have bluetooth or Infrared or DKU-2 USB cable (I got the DKU-2 cable off ebay for $5 + s&h) the challenging part is gettin your contacts from Word document to OUTLOOK/OUTLOOK EXPRESS. If you have just a few contacts it will probably be easier to retype ...

Maybe there is a setting to put Apps in sleep/standby when the keypad is closed?? anybody know for sure?

Called Sony and closing the keypad DOES in fact also close any java apps :( dang! back to looking at bar phones

ok time to trade in my trusty Nokia 3600...but.. I have a java app (golf score app) that i enter a score and put the phone in my pocket for about 10 minutes till i finish the next hole.. my 3600 is in screen saver mode but i hit any button and am back to the java app. I tried a friends clamshell phone and app worked ok until i closed the clamshell (samsung) and it closed the app ...
