Re: Steve Jobs' dead
Apple is no longer an innovator they will now be a normal company humming along.
Re: don't hold your breath
Nokia is on a dead end road with WP they need to think longterm, nothing good can come out of dealing with Microsoft. They took WP because they were in trouble and needed a quick fix, but now they need to think about Nokia and Nokia alone. Samsung knew this thats why they ditched the Activ S phone.
Re: Android source code.
Apple wants to compare Samsung features to Google features in order to prove Samsung copied Apples features.
Apple should just give up and focus on small fries like HTC and Moto.
Re: no plan b
Meego could have been plan B.
Re: @ Crest: This is a foreclosure not a buy out.
Clear knows what they are doing just milking Sprint for as much as it can. And now Sprint will get foreclosed on by a bigger company.
Note 2
Looking at the specs this phone is actually better than the Note 2. I think this phone is worth looking at.
Re: Really....
So long as you are not Verizon or ATT the SEC will approve any merger or buyout, why dont they just say that.
Will Sprint cease to exist once its bought out by Softbank?
Re: New Bogeyman
Sprint has had too many Bogeymen, Im sure the end is near.
Re: Figures.
Let the people of America decide on whether they want ATT or Walmart business it should not be up to anyone else to tell them that they can no longer compete and be happy with what they have. The American people will have to live with their decisions whether they be good or bad.
Re: Nice Specs...
Pantech probably giving Verizon a good deal.
Re: Great App
Yahoo is clearly rethinking all of their services to better compete.
Re: Really????? It's called
This all started from kids buying hundreds of dollars in in app purchases and customers using an insane amount of data while in a foreign land. For these two reasons all carriers must have stop gaps from allowing this to happen so easily and giving customers the tools to not let this happen.
Re: Interesting.
Bloatware galore and probably working on a Droid like commercial to WOW America.
Re: Interesting.
Sprint right now is in such a mess they clearly need something for they keep shooting themselves in the foot. You are right Sprint needs their clocked cleaned and then some all management should be shown the door. Ohh what a tangled web we weave. The government should step in and save Sprint from themselves by finding the best suitable match to buy them out. If they could stop ATT from buying Tmo then they ...
Re: Wouldn't it be funny
Sprints always involved in some kind of mess.
Re: Other Uses
Just like the Note 1 was an experiment. Samsung knows no limits and will keep trying new things unlike Apple which is stuck in the Jobs era.
Re: Why are ALL phones too big?
Customers who want a S4 mini are in the minority when compared to those who prefer the 5inch screen. Companies rather invest in the 5inch screen phone, so yes in the end money talks. But Sony is doing the midrange handset with great specs.
Re: On the Line
You would think they would have copied the stylus too from Samsung but they didn't just the phone idea. Prob would have been to obvious.
Re: Be careful
I would wait for the reviews before buying it. You never know with this new stuff.
LG is really copying Samsung
I think LG copies Samsung very closely from the Optimus G that resembles the Galaxy S2 to the G Pro that resembles the Note 2 and S3. Im sure thats their new motto just make what Samsung is making.
Talk about Free Advertising
Smart move on Solaveis part. Now everyone will know Solavei.
Re: I Just Can't Get Excited About This One.
Blackberry is testing the waters first to see if they can win back US market share. I dont think they can survive with WP or Nokia type market share so then they will look at other options. Selling the hardware division would be first.
Re: Wonder what's up.
What did you expect from Blackberry they do not have massive resources like Apple or Samsung. Samsung can release 10 phones in 10 countries in 10 days all without breaking a sweat.
Re: I always wanted a good reason to go to Blackberry.
Just dont expect the phone to be a gaming powerhouse or media machine. Other than that you are good to go.
Re: So its a 3G phone? Not LTE?
Whenever they actually release the phone in the US hopefully no more delays.
Re: BlackBerry Boasts Record Z10 Sales
I would hope they would break sales in their homeland. Now lets see how they do in the US.
Review
After reading this review this phone is average at best and battery life is unacceptable.
Re: I have a sneaky suspicion
Nobody really knows the state RIM is in now only they do. They could be in dire straits or have money in the bank no one knows. I think RIM is waiting to see how many BB10 phones they can sell this year to see if they even have a chance at staying in the game.
Re: Troll along there!
This is what smartphones are coming to. Its all about the latest and greatest. Not too many customers keep their phones for 2 yrs anymore.
Re: Go sprint
This is not a good move by Sprint, they should carry the Z10.
Re: I thought they don't make that anymore?
Apple is embarrassing themselves by continuing to ask when they've already been told no. They need to work on their public image.
Another marketplace or google play
Lets hope blackberry world is more like google play than windows marketplace.
Re: Not the way to inspire condidence!
Thats what it sounds like to me. Hype up the company to raise the price then cash in with a sale.
Re: And...
No Softbank wants to purchase sprint with clearwire it is all contigent.
Re: it's so obvious
Sprint is in a tangled mess like always. They take too many risky moves.
Re: "...easily outperforms devices that cost more than twice as much."
Looking at the pics for this review yes the angles are washed out and it looks very cheap if i must say so.
They skimped out on the most important feature of a phone.
Re: Not digging the phablets
Get the GNote 2 and take it for a spin for about two weeks and then make a decision, if not get the Iphone 5. Simple as that.
Cleaning House.
At this rate there will be nothing left of Nokia. Talk about cleaning house.
Re: Funny
Its anyone and everyone who holds a patent. With a patent you take every opportunity to hold it against your competitors at every turn and twist you charge for every penny that you can. And yes if they cannot pay then you ban the item outright.
So does this mean
No Lightning or Thunder? Not even the Smoke?
