How is the pre installed Opera browser on the 6682 is it comparable to the Blazer browser on the Treo 650? Better? Worse?

The phone itself will be the same but since you're using T-Mobile the service will be different.
As far as features go the 650 is a sweet little thing and now that HP is coming out with cell phones and DELL is as well expect the phone/pda hybrid market to get very competitive.
Especially if Blackberry goes bye bye.

Some people at Cingular will try and sell you MediaBasics or MediaWorks most of these folks are either customer care or the WORST salesmen on the planet who should be shucking french fries and not selling phones.
The MediaBasics and MediaWorks are for your every day cell phones while the PDA data services are just that FOR PDA'S they use a different server.
Using the standard Media plans on a Treo 650 is like having an Aston Martin v12 Vanquish with ...

It does have a GPS circuit so you can locate the kid which gives it one benefit other than the fact it's as cute as a leper with a sunburn.
I see the Firefly becoming a bigger hit because you can customize it from blue to pink and it has the mom and dad buttons which the Migo doesn't have.

You can with the Moto v551 and v557 there's a new v5** or v7** coming it should allow you to do that but hey forget the speaker you gots bluetooth.

They could be considered new since they aren't directly under Sprint. Now that Cingular became the Verizon killer in coverage. Sprint looks to follow suit.

Yeah just ask those people in California who had to sue Verizon because Verizon was charging them for bluetooth features on bluetooth handsets that are features of the phone not the actual service.
If screwing up your bill is a sign of quality then yeah Verizon's got plenty of that.
Cingular has more towers and if "it's the network" then Verizon's in trouble.

Ohhhh so i guess Cingular being a GSM carrier and having twice the amount of towers Verizon currently has is a weak network? When i worked at Sprint do you know what the biggest complaint was for churn?

EDGE coverage pimpsmacks EV-DO most people who would buy the ROKR have notebooks with wi-fi cards and cellular modems.

Depends on the buyer if the phone doesn't have everything i don't want it right now my fave is the Nokia 6682 and i'm drooolin' over the N90...want that phone to have my children.

Won't attract anyone they stole this concept from Cingular who got it from AT&T.
In November Cingular gets Push to Talk and it will cover their entire network so everyone but T Mobile will have it.Plus Cingular's Push To Talk will have faster signal speed than Nextel and allow for stuff like call waiting and "I'm busy with my other woman so don't call me." PTT voicemail.

HSDPA will top EV-DO and be available with Cingular next year but let's talk about now.
Right now EDGE access with Cingular is more widespread than EV-DO with Verizon forget T-Mobile they'll be stuck at #4 for some time.

Notice on the ads they took the Nextel out and replaced it with a tag line just like Cingular doesn't use anymore AT&T symbolism in their ads.

YUP The ENTIRE network and it's next month not later this year.
They'll also let you convert a PTT call to a regular call with the push of a button have PTT messaging for when you can't answer a PTT call (yup they'll have a do not disturb option for when you can't take a call say you're out with girlfriend 1 and girlfriend 2 hitst he PTT) PTT call waiting and their PTT will be faster than Nextel once ...

Mine will change to loud whenever i plug it into charge but i think i've damaged the charger jack. I'd ask Moto about that one otherwise it's a nice phone.

If you have GSM then don't worry HSDPA is coming and it's faster than EV-DO the main problem with any broadband service is coverage.
Speed is useless if there's no access to it.

Nice, except for the fact Cingular now has the Motorola ROKR so you can have 1,000 songs on a phone/iPod and not have to pay the 7$ a month just upload what you have on iTunes now.
Get a call put the music on pause take the call and start up again. Can't do that with streaming audio.

UMTS is faster than EV-DO 400 kbps min compared to 300 kbps min.
The thing is coverage.
Having a fast connection won't do you much good in the sticks however. UMTS is only in 6 markets with Cingular with EDGE pretty much all over the place here in the states mainly on the east coast and southeast.Whereas EV-DO is as rare as a vegetarian in a butcher shop.
This of course will change HSDPA is coming and will have minimal coverage but ...

When you're the biggest company you get the most complaints.
A lot of the complaints most likely come from former AT&T Wireless customers who were so used to getting spoiled rotten by AT&T. Cingular not wanting to suffer the same fate won't budge on silly requests like "I want a RAZR for free and my N&W to start at 7 free for life with unlimited text for life."
The customer is NOT always right but they are the customer.
If customers placed good service above price..
then wirefly.com would be out of business already.
Most people don't care about the BBB except for grumpy old men who don't read their service agreements.

It's back with a 50$ rebate direct from Cingular.
Don't order from Wirefly a less than 15% customer satisfaction rating just doesn't cut it.
OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE
Sept 1st 2005 is the official release date it is now available via some markets. Some third party dealers are already selling it even though they technically aren't suppossed to.
The 6620 will be discontinued.
