Doubtful, to date nothing on the iPhone is voice activated, but there could be with the 3rd party apps. No one really knows. But just to say NO we have to cavemen and type in the address to where we are going.

everything is included in the data plan. The at&t telenav is a separate program for other phones for $10 a month, it's good yes. but iPhone will be using google maps with assisted gps(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-GPS)which is awesome. Apple has the agreement that it does not have to implement at&t's programs or stores on the iPhone,that's what makes the iPhone so great, you get to choose what crap programs you want, for the most part that is. no the iphone cannot be upgraded to 3g. that has to all do with the HARDWARE. people time and time have opened the phone up and said the radio antenna is not a 3g chipset. if you wait the earliest you probaly will see it is july. why cause steve aint gonna release a 3g iphone a quarter after he just released it in europe. if you want it now go get it, it's a really really great phone! ...

i would wait. macbook pros are supposed to be getting the new penrynn chips. maybe a redesign too?? who knows and i am sure macbooks and i macs should be far off from them. basically if you need now then get, if like me, i am just gonna wait( i don't mind having lesser powered item, i just can't just not having the newest design, but thats me)

I wouldn't think apple would come out with a whole new product with in the first year of iPhone. so i never got any hopes up on that. No earlier than 3rd quarter. It's not like they have todo a major presentation to introduce it this time. i hoping a new design on the mackbooks myself togo with the aluminum body with everything else apple does.

yeah unfortunatly you are pretty much stuck at 1.1.2 till they come out with a jailbreak for the upgrade. You're just lucky it didn't brick your phone.

nope. I've had one since October 2 and haven't had any problems as a phone. No drop calls, easy to move from one call to another. It's pretty solid.

This article should help. the 10 million projected iphone sold is total around the world. and the asian market is huge. but they won't sell a phone that isn't capable of their majority network, which is still getting better and better.

But back to my original point is that it is an all in one device, why carry around a phone and an ipod touch when you can just have an iphone.
Because you won't have to pay for the iPhone service. and you won't have to worry about draining your own phone battery. It just gives you options, which is nice.

well, i hope i can help. My son has the Blackjack and he loves it. he likes the fact that he has all the accessability that he needs as far as SMS/MMS goes and got his email set up just fine. My wife has the Iphone, she loves and uses it for EVERYTHING now, really the only withdrawal she is going through is simple MMS. from what i've seen is, blackajack is great for more busisness type lifestyle, Iphone ...

the zoom is digital. for it to optical the lens would have to either rotate or move forward like a regular camera. but on some other websites they have sample pics and the quality is pretty damn good.

dude just go get a cheap at&t go phone, and get a new sim card. it'll do the job and won't have to deal with opening a new line and crap. thas what i did last year. I learned that from the at&t rep that i always deal with and it worked like a charm.

umm yeah, they already came out and said it's not that it stops charging after 200 charges, like any rechargeable battery after 200th or 300th charge you will notice that the battery doesn't hold the same charge as it was brand new. you can send it in if you deem needed to replace to have it perform to your phone lifestyle(meaning if you use the ipod video alot, internet and other battery draining processes). thas part of the lawsuit ...

It's Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 for Windows Vista and thats how you sync up for vist.
2. Cosmetic makeover, really only adds windows live, cleaned up interface, there isn't an official update on WM6 for the blackjack yet from at&t. but still can upgrade to it with a few known problems you can find read up on them.

yeah but i am not shelling out more money for wifi, when they could easily offer it to you built in rather than force you to use your network data in hopes you go over and want to upgrade. i have both at&t and verizon, the only thing right now verizon has over my at&t phone is GPS and that works pretty damn good, other than that, I am happy with at&t for my family.
BACKUP SMS/MMS (text) WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!
So after a little messing around, all the programs that they provide on that data disc are not useless after all. Use MEDIA WIZARD to back up virtually everything off your phone, contacts, SMS/MMS messages(i have some pretty saucy ones that are worth keeping). so yeah just thought i should share that. now i will go and see if it'll upload to another smartphone. i'll get to that in a few days.

i'm just happy that they're are going tobe more choices by next year when my contract expires as far as smartphones go. but by then windows mobile will be one os, rather than two. HTC makes solid phones.
