Well Note 4 Edge demo unit now @ att. Seems to b everything u would expect & more. FYI if u're a lefty u can spin phone 180ยบ & have the Edge screen on left side & everything spins around, except buttons, not bad. Oh att has TPU case that fits well. Also Amazon has a really nice TPU one from Boxwave also. Phone is very fast, smooth & extremely usable. Available next Fri. 11/14. Can hardly wait. 8)

U do realize there's always programs u want use or do not care for. That's why u can go into manage apps & deactivate & even remove some. There's probably a dozen or so I usually deactivate or delete, if possible on any new phone. U know my car has a lot of gimmicks, pulls doors closed tighter as u shut them, heads up display, lane change notification(even tugs on seat belt if u depart u're lane), power trunk ...

Amazing simply Amazing. If not for the Note Edge, I'm not sure I would trade up from my Note 3. Samsung may have a prob if this unit has limited availability, due to the extreme demand. Thx, FreddieBoy 8)

I don't know about u guys, however I do not consider polycarbonate a cheap plastic. From SIII on up seems to me Samsung phones had a good feel & look as any other phone. Of course the particular case u purchased also enhances the appearance. But if u don't have the power under the hood, what good r looks? Why do u think Jags, Benz, Equss, Lexus & other high end vehicles have V-8's starting @ 385 HP+. My ...

Note 4 Edge, even better. Why upgrade if u're new toy doesn't have some new killer unique features. I've tried many a new phone over the years, however I always come back to Samsung. Once u get use to especially the Note series, it's extremely hard to use anything else.

The sound was a bit tinney. U can feel the vibrations on the back cover, when playing a game. I removed cover, took a business card, tore bout 1/3 off short end of card & put on battery so edges of card did not touch or interfer with waterproofing gasket, snapped cover closed tightly & problem solved. Apparently gasket caused odd sound vibrations.

Well, I broke down & upgraded from my GS3. So far, so good. Very well built, rugged design. The LCD screen seems to have more truer colors than Amoled screen + they had to use this screen for waterproofing. Am still getting use to the Menu, Home & Return buttons. Great features, very fast with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600+ pro processor & the Adreno 320 GPU & 2 gigs of dual channel ram. Its actually an improved version of ...

Construction industry, transportation & delivery, outdoor workers & tons of people that are concerned about their phones, but don't always keep close track of them, etc.I have the phone & am very happy with all its features & also really like the looks & apperance of the GS4a, actually looks rugged yet still light, with very clean lines & color ...

Me too. Qualcomm Quadcore 600 Pro + @ 1.9Ghz, with an Adreno 320 GUI & 2 gigs of dual channel ram. Ruggidized, very good, I believe it's a winner. Actually like the looks, matte finish (not slippery), metalic back, lock screws, etc. They prob had to go to 8 mega pixel camera to fit one that can take pics underwater, which is fine (lens more important anyway) And all of the features of the original S4, hard to ...

That's what I thought, however after using LG Pro for several days, I believe I'll stick with Note II. Don't like the longer +3/16",narrow screen 3/16" less, kinda like 16/9 ratio versus 16/10. And the washed out natural color & to many white & pastel screens. (contacts, email, etc.) Also depending on which benchmark app u use, Note II is almost as fast. Bout 20% slower than my wife's Galaxy S4, with same processor & amount of ram. Does have a ...

Actually the S3 is a very capable, fast phone, with a lot of quality features. U would NOT b disatisfyed with the S3. However, if u want the latest & greatest, with several new additional features, bigger 5" display, that runs almost TWICE as fast, that's a little smaller & lighter, then the S4 is the one. OK guys there's plastic, thens there's polycarbonate (like 80% of glasses frames are made of). So how many Samsung phones have u seen with scratches and/or dents, as with metal (usually aluminum). Fairly soft metal. Also wasn't it Apple that had the reception prob, due to the metal band. One other thing how many people do not put a case on their phone, not many. GS4 is quite a jump from GS3. Quad Core (QualComm 600) DDR3 Ram. Come ...

I understand benchmarks are relative. However, I was looking @ Smartbench 2012. Comparing GSIII to GNII & Note II was considerably slower on gaming versus GSIII. Even watching test the Note II during Shark chasing fish was actually irratic movement. Also on other reviews on U-tube, quick movement on screen, Note II would drop frame rates ocassionally. Apparently the ARM Mali400mp (Note II) is not as fast a GUI as the Qualcomm Adreno 225 (GSIII), seems to be ...

Per-0rdered my S III (white) July 1st, arrive July 3rd. Went by ATT store for awhile & they still had no clue when stores would have them. 8) Oh well. P.S. Killer phone, screen, features, very futuristic design. Also ATT's mobile app transfer (on Playstore market) enabled me to transfer 463 contacts, 363 pics & 32 programs n a couple hours. Pics take longest. Can only b used 1 time with new phone. Very nice.

#1. Notification of missed calls or messages. Just go into setting & set sound notifications to your desire & loudness. #2. Messages n call log. U might have downloaded AT&T mesages from market, which combines all n one place. I tried & did not like. Go back to market & delete AT&T messages. Use standard messaging or maybe download Go SMS Pro, free. #3 Having to delete email one @ a time. Actually its not one @ a time. U do have to ...

Re: Why the two different screen sizes?
Oct 11, 2011, 2:32 PM

Diff strokes for diff folks. To a lot of people 4.3" screen is very large, 4.5" is extremely to large. So loss of sales and/or unhappy customers. 4.3" is excellent size & still usable with one hand. A lot of people have medium or small hands, so 4.3" is pretty much tilt for them. 8)

While I absolutely understand & agree with u that HSPA+, even with backhaul IS NOT LTE 4G, on ATT webpage where the phone is listed for sale, @ the bottom of the detailed info, where it shows HSPA+, it also shows, HSPA+/LTE. I DO NOT believe it is LTE capable actually, but it DOES list it. Also it still shows only 3 hrs. talk time, which should b 8 hrs. So either a TYPO or ATT's accidental attempt to ...
