Well folks, I've had my beautiful little 650 for almost a week now, and have spend over 15 hours on the phone with PalmOne and Verizon (and now have been told to call IntelliSync directly). I love the little guy, but have certainly put in the time to get my "friggin' synching issues resolved (seems it doesn't want to sync w/ Calendar, Tasks, or Contacts...hmmm. what exactly did I want to sync then?). :? I find it interesting that nothing has been said by VZW about EVDO on this phone (either one way or the other). Does anyone have any new or "sourced" information on this?

Last night, I called a local FL Verizon store, and when I asked about the Treo 650, the manager responded quickly "We will be carrying it, but I don't know when." He went on to say that his regional manager had announced this on a call earlier. He told me to keep checking back (3-4 weeks). When I pressed him further, he said he was "CERTAIN". He even felt it was going to be EV-DO ...

You have made my year...if what you say is true. What is your source, other than you say that you are playing with it now? Are you a VZW employee or in a test group? I am dying to hear more...so that I can continue to hold on.
