there's two ironies here:
"Danger" & Microsoft "loosing data?"
It didn't work on my TP2 too well
Can't even increase magnification or adjust the screen to see anything.
It is what it is.
Re: Pure: "Gravity sensor"?
I only thought about that point while I was replying.
I was surprised to see the jack in the videos.
I LOVE this phone! I've always bought HTC devices. I also have ALWAYS ticked off my wife every two years (upgrade).
(Anyone looking for the original HTC Touch w/ WM 6.5? )
Re: Pure: "Gravity sensor"?
You may, very well, be correct. I just got the TP2 (Sprint) and that is what it is listed as, a "G Sensor". In the settings it lists: "Auto rotate" and "calibrate" (shows two bubble levels - one setting horizontal and one vertical).
Figure this; Apple listing their sensor as an "accelerometer" doesn't make much sense either. It doesn't allow anything to "accelerate" (or does it?).
Both are simply different marketing names for achieving the same results, in my opinion.
Re: Pure: "Gravity sensor"?
FYI: "gravity sensor" (G senor), like the iphone has, allows for automatic rendering of the screen when going from portrait to landscape and visa virsa (without manually changing screen settings).
The "Tilt 2" IS the TOUCH PRO 2 - NOW, all major carriers have it - sweet phone - even though it weighs 1.6 oz more than the 3GS!
Re: Bluetooth Keyboard
Im not sure about LG, but, Bluetooth keyboards have been out for four years or longer now. Thought about getting one - decided I carried enough stuff already.
Re: Other reatailers of software
Personally, I'd buy TP2 for the sake of it being HTC, NOT MicroSoft and their Windows Mobile. MicroSoft has been so behind in thought and has been for the last four (or so) years.
All of my PDA Phones have been from HTC. They just seem to have their S**t together.
I see HTC going their own without MicroSoft in the near future, permanently - maybe they have started already w/ their Androided HERO!
My contract is up w/ Sprint. TP2 ...
So, the difference between this and Live search is...
...what?
"We have the exclusive for the next 2 weeks!"
THAT will be their "exclusive" IF they continue waiting  Get yours BEFORE the year ends (and before Verizon checks their mailbox)!
Re: I wish it was 6.5...

Go For It Senators!
I earlier got a text from "Sheila" 8O wanting me to check out her "blog spot". :?
Re: Sounds Pimp
I can't either! I just hope Sprint gets it! I've grown tired of my original TOUCH. I've "touched" the hell out of it - it doesn't thrill me as it once did :P I get that way every two years or so.
If you don't...
it will be another fiasco, like your "I'm A PC" commercial.
My wife has....
the TMobile one, color and all, where the gal gets phone by the guys butt 8O . She hates it  ! I told her, with all the problems she's had w/ phones in general, she needed to get a "Jitterbug"
Re: I'll wait...
Got to disagree Jay. They ARE different. Though, I appreciate their qwerty AND the way its adjustable (like their Tytn II) the Pro2 is too thick for my taste. The HD is 15.25mm less. HD is 32 gm lighter HD's camera is larger MB (not that I use the camera - by 'hey'). HD's screen is a whopping 2/10 larger (3.8") 8O - believe you mentioned 3.7 - their specs show 3.6" . I'm really glad they ...
Re: T-Mo version please.
8O Jeez! I sure hope he/she ducked for THAT one!
I'll wait...
'till their TOUCH HD comes across the waters 8)
I remember them...
...talking about doing this OVER 2 years ago!
Re: I like this browser
Just downloaded .9. It would appear there still will be areas that are "checkerboard" and "blurry". However, this version seems to render the page more quickly. Unfortunately, your situational area may still show suffering.
Re: I like this browser
Its the ONLY browser I use for my TOUCH 8) - even though its constant streaming runs down my batteries :? .
Re: found it
Probably so. Every other manufacturer of BT keyboards, pretty much, had similar pricing - give or take $20. They target the business class.
Re: found it
BlueTooth...below $30...I seriously doubt it! More like $129.00 (just guessing on both).
Re: I was offered a Job
I doubt it, very seriously.
Re: who cares?
Hmmm; I'm now recalling a quote from good old Duke, who once said, “Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid.â€Â
I don't feel this is their main problem...
yes, reducing does make since. However, how often have YOU seen a Windows Mobile Device advertisement on the main stream media (TV)? I've been a WMD owner for 4 years now and I can honestly say I haven't seen Microsoft advertise WM's advantages ever on the TV. NOW, compare that to an iPhone advertisement. Appple (through AT&T) advertises their "package" - THEIR phone with THEIR operating system.
Surely, MS will focus on HTC being exclusive. Then they can truly ...
Re: Horrible Name
You may be correct. It may just be the less they are able to reply to on-going messaging the more likely they are to pay attention to their driving habits.
Re: parents
As you said Caesar, "...IF' you and your kids communicate well." I would venture to say kids/parents, today, don't communicate as well as they should and those kids feel, "What Mon/Dad don't know, won't hurt em".
Re: Until then...
Tmo, I can appreciate that. Opera does pretty good. However, I've found that SkyFire loads up much quicker than Opera (9.5). Even though I am not in a Rev A area.
Until then...
Those of you W/ Windows Mobile devices can download SkyFire :D to view your videos (I can't live without it)! http://www.skyfire.com/
Re: FINALLY!
Ok, I downloaded this and honestly, I don't see it being all that great of an app. I feel Some Guys sMMS is better (maybe I'm used to it already).

Re: About time!
Originally, they could. But, w/ all the hacks going on w/ Windows Mobile Devices (and BBs) Sprint felt some hacked programs might infringe on copyright laws and didn't feel comfortable; hence, they halted MMS on these devices.
Re: if this were to apply to regular mobile phones ...
Ahh :o , a "hit & runner" 8O .
Here's a thought...next time, try keeping your cheerios close to you :paranoid: so nobody p*sses in them :-)... (barf).
Have a great day! :)
Re: if this were to apply to regular mobile phones ...
When I use Skyfire it DOES eat up battery life :( . But, after reviewing my consumption of power, I found out I had my backlight on highest setting, I had configured my screen to NEVER shut off AND my bluetooth, sometimes, is on :? .
I've learned in the past, IF I want "geeky" sh** :-)... , I need to be prepared for using my car adapter OR prepare for extra batteries. So, I do both...I've purchased 3 ...
Re: if this were to apply to regular mobile phones ...
Skyfire IS an AWESOME browser 8) ! Today, I had a friend of mine do a speed test w/ his iPhone and me with my HTC TOUCH . We both used cnn.com. it took 9 seconds for the TOUCH to load, using Skyfire :D . His iPhone was still loading after 0ne minute :? ! PLUS, his iPhone took him to the mobile version of CNN  !
Re: My money
Or, simply "stream" your favorite genre from a website (I.e. shoutcast.com etc) 8). No money involved :D IMHO, their "Music Store", pretty much suxxxx :P .
Re: dont bother!
I understand you say, :( "It doesn't work on (your) Treo 700W." Since it IS Windows Mobile Device, having OS 5 8) , it SHOULD work. I encourage you to give it another try!
Re: No "Better" Browser Out There! ('nough said)
:paranoid: Don't think I'd be broadcasting the last part of your message. Yes, there ARE websites that provide such services and like it or not it IS piracy (illegal). I'm sure Skyfire has the ability to block websites or worse, provide the authorities with your IP address (if forced) or permanently, "log you out" since you are using their server.
Re: No "Better" Browser Out There! ('nough said)
I know, I too have the TOUCH. If you adjust your TOUCH's volume it will pause video :? ; it only lasts about 2 seconds (video resumes automatically :D ).
No "Better" Browser Out There! ('nough said)
8)
I don't get the importance...
Isn't this out-dated? With all the "high-tech" phones out now, is there truly ANY benefit in having IM? Wouldn't it be more convenient to simply "text"?
