I had the exact opposite experience - and that's a day AFTER it was released on the web.
Me: "I don't see the Samsung N330 in your display, do you have them available by any chance?"
VZW Rep: "Nope, sorry."
Me: "That's funny, it's availabe on your website for sale."
VZW Rep: "Well, we have it, but just not on display."
Me: "Well can I still purchase one?"
VZW Rep: "No, we won't have it for sale until we ...
No analog mode for N330?
I've been eagerly anticipating this phone for a while, but noticed that it's only digital (no analog mode - if I'm reading the specs right). Should I be concerned about that? I'm in big cities most of the time, but am wondering if it's smart to have the option for analog for when I'm in the middle of nowhere.

I'm not sure how reliable this is, but cnet.com says the N330 is coming in Q1 2005. That would imply in the next 3 weeks or so. If you click on the video on this link the reporter at CES mentions the release being Q1(this was in early January, however, so maybe the timing isn't that accurate):

I really hope it comes out soon, it looks from the video like it'll be a fun phone.
