I thought there was an exclusion clause to waive the ETF if the policy holder died. Is this true? How does it affect other lines on the account? Specifically, my father-in-law passed away and his contract still has a few months left on it. My wife's phone is on his plan as an additional line, but the contract on it is for a longer period (it was added later than the original). Can we get his phone cancelled without the ...

DST is going to be a minority holder in the new, larger Asurion company. That means current lock\line employees will be layed off once the consolidation begins.

Good times. I always thought it was stupid that they'd send someone a phone (or anything) without it being paid for.

Her parents were the ones I was dealing with. I kicked them out, and stood outside to watch them leave. They all got in the car, and as they were driving away, the little girl jumped up in the back window and flipped me off. Of course, the parents put her up to it. Stupid people shouldn't be allowed to breed.

If she had entered a retail establishment the same way she began the phone call, she would have immediately been asked to leave. If she had not provided me with the account information, I wouldn't have been able to transfer her to anyone for any reason. She got to where she wanted to go, but only because I was able to indirectly get the information I needed and provided the information I needed to provide. If she did not like ...

We've been told more than once that we're not to transfer a call without being able to fully describe the situation to the person we are transferring to. This is doubly true for supervisors - they don't want to take a call without as much information as they can acquire before speaking to a customer. If the customer is not willing to assist us with describing a problem or issue they have, we cannot assist in resolving it. She was ...

That's fun. I love 'security' that is only there for a paycheck. I used to do security, and it's a scary feeling when you know there isn't someone on duty who'll be there if $#!+ goes down.

I used to deal with people like that all the time. The one's who talk tough, like your friend there, never actually do anything. They're all bark. A proper response to a threat like that is, "Shut up. You don't have the b@11s to do that. If you did, you wouldn't be telling me what you're going to do, you'd have already done it." That usually shuts them up and they leave. ...
