I had an older LG (5550)that something like that happened, except it wouldn't get out of headset mode no matter what. So it only worked with a headset. I sent it in, and LG replaced it.

I love the LG. I live in a rural area, and the LG gets awesome signal where I'm at. It's so far been the most durable phone that I have owned. I have put mine through so much,(for some reason i'm really hard on phones) and it still works as great as when I first got it.

I noticed that on the rebates, but haven't heard anything on them.The only one that I found on the Kyocera website was the Dorado. It came up as the Kx13. Looked like a pretty decent bar style phone. I couldn't find anything else on them.

I have the lg6100. So far it's been one of the most durable phones that I have owned, for some reason I am very hard on phones.

I've never had a prob with the insurance, I sell US cell in oregon. Personally I've done about 4 insurance claims in the last couple of years, each time I had a new phone within 3 days. I haven't had any customers have problems with them either. Maybe I've just been lucky :)
