I've been reading the posts about ringtones and know of yet another way to get ringers. Basically you find a sound clip on the internet, many sites give you samples of music that is on a CD before you buy. Walmart.com is good because the clips are already 30 seconds. right click on the file and change the file extension to .midi and save it to your computer. then just send an email with the file attached ...

Hello everyone, does anyone know how to get tunes into the tune folder without a data cable, and can tunes be transferred into the ringers folder or be used as ringers from the tunes folder?

YES YOU CAN AND THE WITH THE SIDE KEYS YOU CAN SWITCH THE FLASH ON AND OFF WITH ONE TOUCH. YOU CAN ALSO USE THE VIDEO AND READ TEXT AND VIEW THE PICTURE GALLERY ALL WITH THE PHONE CLOSED.

Just a couple quick things that you didn't mention. I know that all the phones are great and size does matter (to some people), but in the 8000's defense It really is a matter of a few centimeters maybe. I personally always carry my phone in my pocket and to me the 8000 doesn't really feel that much different than my 6000 or 4400 did in my pocket. The speaker phone is pretty good. It is similar to the motorola V710 or the V60s. I had my boss call me from home and he needed to talk to all of us. I just set the phone down and had a mini conference call with all the employees who were working. (and I work in the middle of the mall, pretty noisy around me) It also works great for the Vcast. I now own the VX 8000 and....
Fortunatly I was able to get this phone early because I won it in a drawing at one of the Verizon trainings. It is amazing, great reception, awesome camera and video and amazing outside display also. The only downside is it's size which is slightly bigger than the LG7000, I personally like it because with a bigger phone you get a bigger screen.
I also just saw the Vcast streaming video and it was amazing. Flawless, the LG VX8000 ...
Just saw Verizon's EVDO streaming video and....
Flawless, the LG VX8000 should be launched on Feb 1st. I already have one, but the Vcast has not launched yet so I can't use Vcast till the 1st. I did see a preview of it today from my corporate VZW rep. it was awesome, 15 frames per second and the buffering speed was awsome.
