Is it illegal to obtain phone records or is it illegal to sell them? If you can get them, go for it you crafty bastards. But the carriers should be the ones punished, they let them get out. There needs to be more security and training on the ends of CSR reps and such so that this info never leaves the carrier's hands. I say shame on the carriers...

realize that they reccommend these cards because that is what Nokia sells. I use a 2GB a-data MMC card that I bought on eBay. It works great except the mp3 player is limited to only displaying 200 tracks.

1. At the top of the screen, what is the meaning of a round black ball surrounded by two pairs of parentheses? the Bluetooth functionality is turned on. 2. On the far left upper side of the main display, what is the meaning of what seems like a 3-pronged pitchfork standing on its end with horizontal bars over it? Right now it is TWO horizontal bars but I suspect those bars change. darn tootin thats the signal indicator

I have been in the retail business for 10 years and have only heard customers say "Better Business Bureau" when they are really pissed off, irrate, or not getting the rediclous request they demanded. I have also never been to the BBB website, but perhaps I'll see if my company is there. That way when a customer says they're going to complain, I'll let them know if it will do any good...

after you spell it once for the phone you just have to keep pressing star and the phone will run through a list of words. When typing in 66 you can get NO or ON. I believe which ever you choose last is what will appear first. If that's not the word you want then hit the star key repeatedly until you get the one you want.

Re: Nokia 6225i - Assigning mp3 as ringtone for a contact?
Aug 16, 2005, 10:22 AM
in the Nokia forum

3585, 3586, 3587, 6225, 6585, 6015 are all the same. Individual contacts cannot be assigned a ringtone from the gallery. If you can find a way to dump ringtones into the "canned" ringtones area, then you'll be able to assign them as an individual ringer. It's not a 6255i issue, it's a CDMA Nokia issue.

It's my understanding the hinge cracking is a warrantable repair. One of our P & D people sent communication regarding this and it was covered according to Nokia. Did Cell South send it to their repair facility or just tell you it's not covered?

I've delt with a RS Kyocera repair facility that takes an enormous ammount of time, as in 2-3 months to complete a repair. I have been to Radio Shack and purchased things from them. But a cell phone? I don't understand why a consumer would bother with an agent location? Why not go right to the source, as in the carrier?

I mean seriously, I have bought some crap from there in my day, and a 100-300$ cell phone is definately something I would buy else where. At the rate Radio Shack stores close, you could see the store disappear within a week of your purchase!

I definatly am happy with the audio quality of the 6255 compared to the v810 I last had. It is much MUCH louder. Also, If I use the speaker phone I don't have to hold the mic near my face, it picks up from atleast an arms length away at a normal volume. I've heard good things about the e815 and a rumor it was discontinued: http://www.mobilemag.com/con tent/100/340/C4263/ turned out to be a glitch? hmmm...

compared to say a Motorola v810 it's a little lighter. Personally, If I have the phone on just vibrate I'll miss the call if I'm driving or in a noisy environment like a bar. I keep the phone in my pocket and my pants are usually quite loose. The phone is kind of heavy and the extra weight could affect the effectivness of the vibrate function. Have you heard the new N90 doesn't vibrate at all because of the Camera lens? ...

Is this a good decision? Personally I have never seen the use for this service. I also find the loud talking and little beepy noise to be extremly annoying, especially in a resturant. I can see the benifits to enterprise customers, but you would think those intrested would have already turned to Nextel. How many US Cellular customers have been hanging around for the PTT service?

That is a scary situation when a provider won't activate an analog for an existing customer. Out here in Rural MN analog is key. And in Northern MN, forget digital. It simply is not economical for providers to improve and maintain digital coverage in these areas. More government subsidies must be provided so that providers can expand and provide rural areas like these, not just in MN, with the coverage needed to ensure their customer's safety. At times when budgets ...

I have not had any issues with volume or speaker clarity. While in the car, I find that using the loudspeaker works best for me. I have never used a phone with an earpiece as loud as this one. The loudspeaker on the 3200 is great. Do you get distortion or is it like the call is cutting out?

Answers: 1) What's up with the reception? Two bars? Thoughts on that? That sucks... 2) Is there any way to adapt standard RCA minijack headphone set to fit that little jack on the top of the phone? I just want good stereo headphones for mp3's without (hopefully) having to buy a new "phone only" set. Any ideas? I attempted to try a 2.5~3.5 adapter and it does not work. I purchased a home made lead on ebay for about 30$. The ...

The only thing I would see needing the backlight to stay on for would be reading??? If you're playing a game you're pushing buttons so it will stay lit. I'll admit it sucks that that cannot be adjusted, but the phone surpasses others by the outstanding features it carries. To each his own indeed...
