Re: Don't Agree With Most of This
Revision: I just found out that my text plan was increased to 5000 texts as of March 1st with no extra charge! So ignore that complaint I made above. :D :D :D
Don't Agree With Most of This
I hate to say it, but I didn't agree with about half of this review. I've been using the EnV since early December, and I have absolutely loved it. It's the only LG phone I've ever kept for more than 3 days (I'm a Motorola/Nokia person), and this one does everything I want to do (that Verizon didn't limit).
One-handed texting with the phone shut is easy, as it should be. With the phone open, it's not ...
Re: Skins or covers?
I know I have shields coming out for the EnV in the next few weeks...I just got my first carrying case for it on Friday. Stuff is beginning to trickle in for it now....
Re: Over Charging Battery
Li-Ion batteries have no memory. That's why the entire industry changed to them from the Ni-CAD batteries a few years ago. As far as over-charging, it's the phone and the charger itself that keep that from happening. I charge my EnV every single night, as I did with my previous 40-50 phones and I've never had a battery problem with any of them.
Re: Vault Test
Umm...is "the vault test" as obvious as it sounds, or am I just theonly person who has no clue what that means?
Re: HOT HOT Damn!!!
Umm...I don't count the T-Mobile thing because they don't offer service in North or South Carolina. Outside of visitors to the state, I haven't seen the Big Pink T in a year and a half.
Re: HOT HOT Damn!!!
Umm...this isn't quite up the uniqe alley, yet. SunCom has been doing this for 10 customers for about 6 months, and Alltel has been doing it for 10 customers for maybe 4 months.

Rokr, Slvr, Pebl, Razr. Looks like Motorola can't afford to buy vowels.
You do realize that A, E, and O are vowels, right? :D
Shells
As an accessories guy (I carry about 50,000 accessories in my store), we carry somewhere around 100 shells for the RAZR, not to mention the custom stuff we do with the airbrush guy down the hallway in my mall....
Dependent on Government?
You people actually depend on the government for something? The goverment only does what it thinks the general populace wants. 9 times out of 10, the gov't officials don't think beyond their term in office to help us in the future (oil crisis?!?).
I scoff and thumb my nose at you.
How Long Before Verizon Gets It?
Since Alltel basically uses all of Verizon's phones (with a few exceptions), how long before VZW gets a version of this? Anybody know? I'd love to get my hands on it....
Re: Woot!!!
Did you notice that it didn't say it would work on Sprint's ReadyLink system? That means you still can't two-way a Sprint customer with the Nextel phone.... Don't get too excited yet.
Re: >B BLUE TOOTH HEADSETS: Good - Bad?
I sell 55 different Bluetooth devices, and I've used about half of them. I've used almost everything Motorola has and didn't care for any of them. I've tried everything off-brand that I can get my hands on and didn't like them, either. The only one I've kept and continue to use is a Nokia model. It's the HS-26W (you can Google it or check it out on my website). It goes around the ear ...
Re: ANYTHING COOL FOR MY 8100.
I actually carry 20-30 different faceplates for it. Those are pretty cool. And I think I can get my hands on flashing batteries if that's up you're alley.
Re: Best Tricked out phone manufacturer for teens
Nextel i730, i530 are also very easy to trick-out. (I do like 20 a week in my store.) Flashing lights galore, tons of body kits, and it only takes me maybe 15 minutes to fully do one. I've got two myself all the way done.

Re: Planned Availabilty = 4th quarter 2005......................
Sorry...no morning coffee yet. It's amazing how similar the number "1" and the number "2" can be when you have no caffeine in you....
Re: Planned Availabilty = 4th quarter 2005......................
I'm in the Raleigh/Durham area, and we've had this phone out for quite some time. The weird thing is that the camera on the one here is on the bottom of the flip, not the top like in the picture. It has the same number (6255i), though.
