I am considering getting one(P910a) through Cingular and this is one of my main concerns...this is always an issue when buying a phone that a provider doesn't carry. They act as if they can't do a thing for you, if they don't carry the phone. Please let me know if you have worked this situation out and if so, how is it working? Thanks

I called that place who had the S700i for $495 and she was hesistant at first, but said they said they get their phones from SE overseas... :?

I feel like if buy the phone from a carrier or SE, that I will get better customer service should something go wrong or need to be repaired...I like feeling that satisfaction.

Yeah, I saw them too....alot of these places are really cheap and they are all in NY....U don't suppose they sell the shell of a phone with some %^$&** stuff on the inside of it right? I here alot of people in the forums talking about how cheap phones are in NY...usually when I buy a phone, I buy from a store, not on the street

LOL :lol: Yeah right! This place in Houston called Futuretronics is the same way..they charge alot more for there phones than the daggone actual brand retailer. That is crazy and whoever pays that is crazy too!

What possible excitement could Reid42 get out of telling us he has the phone, but really doesn't? He'd have to be a natural born eeediot and a pathetic loser. I give him more credit than that and I don't even know him.

I was thinking of getting S700i off of SE site, just to feel safe and to know that I'm getting a legit product. Then the thought of paying $700 makes me feel sick :oops: and stupid 8O...

Hero, Do you know good 3rd party retailers to buy SE phones from that are a little cheaper...I know Expansys is suppose to be good, but they cost more than SE website...at least the S700i does...??

It's gotta be somewhere..like the time I lost my BT headset..I knew it couldn't have been far, b/c I am very vareful with where I put it. I thought about which purse I carried when I had it last. I remembered I had carried a purse where I accidentally tore a small hole in the lining. I found it! It had slipped through that hole. Hero, your phone could be in the weirdest place and I believe that's why you can't ...

I actually like Silver better than black. Maybe the guys like the black better...I love the color of the K700, it's so slick looking. Hero, how does your friend like her S700?

It's really good. The best place to get it and it taste good is a Japanese Steak House...like a Benihana's or something like that. I don't know if they have Benihana's everywhere.

I can dig..that's why I kind of want the S700 instead...u know everyone and there mama is gonna be trying to get that S710...can u blame them, though? Let's see, I'll be sacrificing EDGE, but the S700's GPRS is class 10, which is the best class of GPRS. Anything else?

Haha, no I just like to speak like that...like the guy who played in Matrix Reloaded? Remember the one who had all the vampires and his wife turned on him? I loved his accent...instead of saying "them", he says, "zem"...I love it!

I'll have to sacrifice no radio...sometimes it's nice to be able to cut on the radio when you're waiting somewhere and the people around you are annoying as hell.

Yeah, you will. If you haven't been out of the house, just back track yourself to wher you were last talking on it. Who knows..it could be in some crazy place...like behind a dresser, in a pocket(did u have on different set of clothes?), underneath something...
