unlock code?!?!?!?!

I am looking for a subsidy unlock code for a Motorola v60. I know I need to use my IMEI #, but I first need some direction as to where to go that doesn't re-route me to e-bay. Thanks.

Been there, done that...hehehe. Just keep your eyes and ears open for jobs in the same field. Don't let this centre, and all of their ego-tripping "higher ups" get you down. Apply, apply, apply. The good thing at least is knowing that we are expendable sucks for them, because all tenured reps leave for greener grass, and most that's here is new hires, constantly not knowing what is going on. HAHAHAHA.That'll teach 'em to not appreciate us

Ahh, but Cingular can choose to buy out the contract, if they want to be F$##ks.Then what? In all reality, I do NOT want to be a CSE rep. No one knows whats going on, and I don't really like the way they do business. So I hope that we do have our contract bought out, and start something new

Oh yes, I have had those calls. I deal with divesture markets, so it's even funnier. They say: "Since Cingular took over, my service is crap" well, sir/maam, ACTUALLY, Cingular didn't take you over, and your service was in no way affected, so as opposed to trying to lay the blame on some vague, non-existant excuse, why don't you stop throwing your theories at me, and let me figure out what the problem is. The joys. Is everyone havin' FUN yet!? ...

As far as I am aware, AWS is currently no more, but since AT&T is not a company based solely on the wireless industry, there is the liklihood of them re-emerging in the future. As a wireless provider. Bet on it.

The EBOC Policy is fine. If a customer chooses to port out without advising their provider, then they do not give us the option to advised them of this policy. Ignorance is bliss. If I told my landlord I was moving out mid month, I would still have to pay the full month. Is that fair? No. Does it make sense? Yes. We are expecting that revenue from the MRC, and if we are advised in advance of a ...

I don't mind Cingular as a whole, but I am very disappointed in the entire "transition" process. Even now, it does NOT seem that they know what is going on. The Cingular people that came to my centre pre-merge knew nothing. EVERY SINGLE piece of information they DID provide us with has now been proven wrong. So, who knows what about what? NOBODY> Stop whining, and be as informative as you can with the information YOU have. After reading ...

Wow, you must be American, because I never heard anyone else try so hard to justify his actions. So, you feel that Bush is better? Becaus ehis daddy breeded him from birth to despise Saddam and like a brainwashed ant with no mind, waltzed thru this life, then , in some deranged twist of fate, became president, only to claim an illegal war on...who? You guessed it. I'm glad to see Saddam gone, but there are international laws for ...

Well, a supervisor's approval is their first and last name, as well as the last 4 of their AWID, and for the record, the customer is always right. We have a specific stock of phones that we want to sell, and if the customer adamant not to "transition" to Cingular, then it can be done. And "AD", it's not about someone butt on the line, if it wasn't supposed to happen, they wouldn't have made a way around it ...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. It blows my mind that these people are able to sustain full time jobs, and have the brain power to walk into a store, or dial a toll free number, and go through the entire process of initiating a wireless account. It surprises me that they know how to dial a number, let alone, dial from memory, and not a scrap peice of paper. Re: Question for Cingular ATT

I recall when AT&T Wireless acquired US Cellular customers, that was AWS receiving customers, the policy/T&C's of U.S. Cellular may have been different from those of AWS. These customers did NOT have a contract when they transitioned to AT&T. The big difference is that these customers are going FROM AWS to SunCom, and it would be determined by SunCom, as to whether or not they will retain their original contract end dates. But they do have the legal right ...

I tell them to press the red phone, or if a number does come up on my display, I access the account, see if there were other "dead air" or dropped calls in Events, then apply inbound/outbound blocks, and leave a detailed note describing what i did, and advising that when the account holder calls in wondering why their phone doesn;t work, we can advise them that their kids were abusing the phone, and it is considered harassment, that ...

Hey , the manufacturer has the unlock code, but they signed a clause and cannot disclose that info. The wireless carrier does not know it. It is designed to protect the provider. SOL. The only thing you can do is surf the net. The codes are out there online, but that is it. Don't spend $5000 on a phone, unless you're sure you want to stay with that provider for at least a couple of years

Where are you calling? I came to realize that we are not in a "hold que", and that the call WILL NOT be answered in the order it was received. I call a Dept. the expected hold time is 20 mins. I hang up, call back, 10 minutes, hang up, connect right away. DO NOT wait on hold for anyone. I have only waited on hold for over 5 minutes once, and that was when we had the resolution ...

Ahh, the infamous "lawyer" routine. I like, oh then, you are aware that upon signing the contract that you agreed to pay all of our legal bills if you did take us to court. And that would far exceed the $175 ETF if you cancelled now. Do you want me to send you out a copy?

Re: Store Reps = Pissed Off Customers
Jan 12, 2005, 10:28 AM

the other thing I do, is send them to the store, tell them the dispute should be directed to the in-store rep, and mention, that they will likely say they can't. I now tell the customer to call back in to Care while in the store so it's not an issue of he said, she said, and if necessary, we will speak with the rep, and review standard policy and procedure with them if the store rep was not ...

Re: Store Reps = Pissed Off Customers
Jan 12, 2005, 10:15 AM

I make it my personal mission NOT to refer people to in-store locations. Even worse are indirect dealers. But as for the store reps who are on the AWS payroll, do they only require a 7th grade education? I advise customers to go in store to check out demo models, then call us back to order, or go online. I explain that they are "sales oriented", and are solely concerned with the profit they will receive. And I take ...

Re: Question for Cingular ATT
Jan 12, 2005, 10:10 AM
in the AT&T Wireless forum

Sarahjae is right. If SunCom when they fully acquire the divesture markets (ie, Carolinas)make changes to the original service agreement, then as per the Terms and Conditions, the customer would have 20 days to dispute the contract. The most likely circumstance that MAY take place is IF SunCom does not keep the mobile to mobile to included AT&T Wireless customers. If that changes, and they do not keep that M2M community, THEN, the customer can dispute the contract. Other than ...

The Cingular "training" was pathetic. The worse being that aside from being a waste of time, the Cingular people who came up to "train" us do not know their $%# from a hole in the ground. Talk about misinformation!! Idiots. 90 % of the information that they advised us of, I have disproved. We are doomed to fail!

Re: Blue Rep's Last Names??
Jan 12, 2005, 9:27 AM
in the AT&T Wireless forum

I am a "blue " rep, and decided that under no cicumstances will I be forced to use my last name. Aside from opening the door to more racist and discriminative innuendos from customers, I prefer to not have some psycho send me a letter bomb because i denied them a $750 credit for roaming charges. We have the right to protect our personal privacy, and I refuse to use my last name. Ha
