Giving Curve to Girlfriend but...

...here's the deal: She has a Pearl and I have a Curve (both with AT&T). I recently bought an iPhone and wanna give her my Curve. However when they activated my iPhone I didn't have the chance to delete my old BIS email accounts on the Curve. I don't know how else to remove them. So that's the first problem. Also, when she tried using her SIM card to test out the phone, one of my old BB Messenger contacts sent ...

Amazon has an amazing deal on the Curve. I only paid $99 bucks but now it's even cheaper at $49 bucks. Sweet!

I currently have the SE w810 and really enjoy the picture quality. I don't expect the Curve to match it (no autofocus) but I was wondering what you Curve owners thought of the camera?

I don't own it yet but my buddy does. I've tested it out and it fits in pocket easy-peesy! It's a sweet machine.

So I've had my w810i for about a week and I absolutely LOVE it. Its the first SE phone I've since the days of Omnipoint. lol. Anyway, I'm on Cingular these days and I've got all the settings working perfectly. However I can't seem to send a text message to someones email. I can send MMS but not SMS. It keeps asking me for a Email Gateway. What is that and where can I find one? Thanks!

If ur into... -Beautiful camera pics -Great MP3 player -Small form factor -Best UI in the business -Confident quality -Expandable memory -Edge -Bluetooth ...then something tells me you'll LOVE this phone! :) I went unlocked ($350 on Amazon) and don't regret it AT ALL!!!

One of the few complaints about this phone is the lack of lens protection. Now I've had camera phones since the dawn of time and never had one with a lens protector. In that time I don't recall ever scratching the lens. So I guess my question is has anyone scratched the w810i lens? If so, did it effect the quality of the images? I've heard about the mod with the K750 but I was just wondering if thats more ...

Thats a definitely a shared opinion but I fear we'll be waiting many many moons for the new line of Motos. Look how long the V3i has taken (and its still not a guarantee). :(

Does anyone know if this bad boy is Mac friendly in terms of the music player component? If not out the box are there any hacks available yet? I really like this phone but would hate to have to moves all my mp3s over to my pc.

Cingular + New RAZR = Screw teh customer!!! I can't imagine this thing being anyless than overpriced. Which in the Cingular world is far from unusual.

And still no V3i for Cingular...

CDMA gets ANOTHER RAZR and I'm still waiting for Cingular to release the V3i. lol. Gotta love it...

Funny story. A friend of mine found some dudes phone number in his girlfriends RAZR. He got so upset with her that he threw it out a driving car. She went back to get it and it worked perfectly. lol. Hope that helps.

So how successful can one be at getting all the proper Cingular settings (MEdia Net, MMS, etc) on a unlocked V3i? What are the road blocks thus far? This thread is so huge, I can't quite get a definitive answer.

I was refering to the Moto A630 which was far from "another look-a-like silver Samsung flip". The T-Mobile users I know who have the phone love it and I always find myself playing with thiers. Sorry if the StarTrek communicator doesn't appeal to me.

...this thing couldn't be uglier. I've wanted a QWERTY phone like the A630 ever since Cingular pulled its support for the A630. This however won't cut it unless its a bag full of candy.

They must be waiting to release this damn thing with the new season of American Idol. There is no other reason I can think of besides that Cingular is losing its touch.

I'm so tempted to go with T-Mobile just because they have a fun collection of phones and unlocked phones are usually readily available for it. I'm sure worried about the service. I need to buy a house or something so I can stop buying phones. lol.

Anyone worried about picking up one of these bad boys considering all the RIM legal issues? I'd hate to drop a hefty bill on this and have to stop using it just when the party is getting good.

Now this is a BlackBerry I can sink my teeth into. I've considered picking one up for a while now but the size has concerned me a bit. The sleeker, sexyier design seems well into my likes.

Holy crap. How could this happen so soon? Were sales that bad? I've actually never seen anyone with this phone and it never even made it to the Samsung website. Odd situation. I love my P777 and really feel like it got a bad break.

Was there ever an explanation as to why Cingular released on a small amount of A630 phones and with NO fanfare? Also why did they cancel on it? Was it a contract problem? I'd love to know why...

If I'm not mistaken you can bring it to a Cingular store and they can transfer it for u. I've never done it with Cingular but I have done it with Sprint.
