Key-pad layout
I'm worried about the keypad layout. I think the buttons to the side of the numbers are going to get really annoying while texting (accidentally hitting the buttons and bringing up infinitely annoying screens.)
Htc needs to learn from apple
When are these phone companies going to learn from apple and figure out that people don't want bricks for phones. I'd be all over this phone if it would hit the half inch mark in thickness.

The 8525 similar, but this one is more compact and has Windows Mobile Pro 6.
Now they just need to send it to Cingular.

I don't understand why really cool phones like the M600i and the P1 don't have GSM 850. AT&T is the largest wireless phone network in the United States and it utilizes GSM 850!! What are you thinking Sony???? :evil:

I'm wondering if the user won't have to use the outside screen to take pictures considering the placement of the lense. It's on the back of the phone, which usually means it's meant to be held like a camera. It sure would suck if you had to though :( .
Plan change
CINGULAR CHANGED THEIR PLANS....they no longer have regional plans and there is no 600 minute plan either....CRAP! :x

Does anybody know if this phone can be hooked up to a computer and used as a webcam?...I doubt it but I was jw... :D

Does anybody know if this phone has a flash. I noticed it's not listed under the info on this page. But whats new really?? Just wondering if anybody has to have this phone. :wink:

To be perfectly honest. This phone looks like a piece of crap. Dont know why, just looks like you could drop it onto your pillow and the STN ( :lol: ) display would just pop out! :roll:

I don't know anything about that company. I would just be safe and deal with the ebay person listed in the strand above. Its 10 dollars more but you get a car charger and an antenna booster and a memory card.(i'm still not sure what size) and he looks pretty legit.
S710a or the V635
I've been puzzled for months on which phone I should get. The s710a or the V635. They look about equal. What are some opinions. I'm so puzzled because I love the screen on the s710a and I like the memory capacity on this phone better.

I'm confused about this. He says it included a MMC memory card. But this phone uses transflash. Is that a typo or is he just sending the wrong type of card?

Scratches
Hey does anybody that has this phone know how easily the phone and screen scratche? I am kinda rough with them at times and the main screen being on the outside kinda scares me off a little. :?

Yeah, actually my phone has been pretty great. What do ya know??....lol. And with an exception of the vx8100 I would have to agree with your comment on the Nokia 6682. But of course thats what happens when you look at CDMA phones.

OHHHHHHHHHHH....i'm not trying to buy one. I was just helping the guy who asked the origional question by making the point that this phone can take up to 512 mb of removable memory and the s710a can only have like 128 mb.

But this phone does not take MMC......it takes RS-MMC...I'm pretty sure the maximum size on that is 512 mb. At least I've spent a few hours looking for more and 512 mb is the most I can find.

I count 4 only on this site with internal antennas. And I have an LG C1300 (which is like LG's crappiest phone ever) since last June and its doing just fine. No problems with anything falling apart or anything. :D

Cingular is doing pretty well for it self I would say (now being the largest wireless phone service provider in the country) ....I dont think we even have verison here. The two cdma carriers are Sprint and Cellular South. And they both suck ass so... :cry:

If you want a phone for songs, this is not the one. It doesn't have enough capable memory. The maximum memory card size you can get is 128 mb.(not enough for an mp3 player) Hope that helps.

I never said anything bad about CDMA...I have no problems with CDMA. I have GSM so naturally I would want this phone to be GSM. In my location CDMA sucks ass(literally no CDMA customers get service) and Cingular rules. But thats just here, well thats what I assume. Actually if the cdma were any good here I would have it cause its cheaper and the texts plans are better. But as you said, thats another ...

I'm so glad they decided to take the Joystick off of this model unlike the 6620...I just hate joysticks on phones with a fiery passion. Looks pretty awsome...hope it comes out sooner than later. :D

I seriously believe this would be the phone in my pocket were it not CDMA (except for the fact that it has yet to be released)....It has everything I look for in a phone...absolutely spectatular. :D

Its too bad it doesn't have GSM 850 on it...I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat.
