Think of a Nexus 4 with a bigger (and FULL HD) display, and far better camera (Battery life is about the same as for the N4). Or an scaled down LG Optimus G Pro without advanced multitasking (and still a better camera) It takes razor sharp photos, low light performance is good, but I'd have liked if the LED was a little bit better. A 2-tone dual flash would have been great. As an smartphone it is really good, yet, far ...

I will be adding my review on Wednesday. I will first upload some pics taken with it's camera and post the links to them. I'll soon be reviewing the ZTE Nubia 5 as well, once I'm done with the break-in period for the battery. So far, battery life is dissapointing. I'll try it with other SIM as well, phones perform poorly on the battery life department when they have to struggle to connect calls or moving data.

- The hardware feels better in hand. (No glossy/slippery plastics) - The phone is smaller, though, equally capable. - Has sightly better battery life. - Less bloat-ware out of the box. - Being a purely Motorola (hence google) phone means that it may receive updates sooner and more often than its DROID Brethren.

Will be 59.99 after MIR. This is the U.S. version of the Alcatel M'Pop. Will most likely reach Metro PCS with a 59.99 price tag before the end of the year. Is a good phone, if a bit slow (it has just 512MB RAM) Oh, and has a fixed focus camera :D

Well, everything is possible in the industry. Remember "Vertu" phones? In-gold-clad feature phones (or early smartphones). They had a skin-deep premium feel, though, they were just phones after all.

The materials used by HTC are the same as the ones used by Apple for the Iphone. Aluminum and polycarbonate. The rear shell of the HTC one is curved, though, the phone is big. The curved back is necessary for the phone to rest well in the hand. The front of the phone fits a bit more unevenly with the back chasis, and you can tell by just looking at it. It is a top-notch device, but obviously, the ...

The build quality and premium feel of the original Iphone 5 is yet to be surpased. The 5s is the same hardware (mostly) so yes. It is a premium device.

That it is quite stupid to lock the phone in the first place. Carrier phones are often optimized to work with a certain network (A&TT by example), and yes, they work with other networks, they crummily work with other carriers. To get started, because a cheaper service usually isn't as good as the other more expensive service offered by that other bigger carrier. Second, the phone has been optimized for the big carrier's network, so you won't be experiencing an optimal ...

This is a more business oriented device. An "active" variant of this device isn't likely to appear (Unless you know some people that like jogging using their business outfits).

And it seems to have a good resolution (I'm guessing QHD) I don't know exactly how do e ink displays work, but this accessory has caught my attention: I wonder if it could be possible to improve this technology and do something more fancy out of it. Like a 12bit grayscale display or even a transflective 18 bit color display with e-ink, even if it depended of a secondary active matrix "smart circuit" driving the main e-ink layers for such ...

It is very important for me to have a decent music player in my phone. I would really like to have a device like this one (specially now that I deal with lots of emails from clients). Most people don't like those "very chinese" phone (there's no racist intent in my comment, is just what they are), I think that most people won't mind. Though, some brands as Pantech, ZTE, and Huawei; may become less common among big carriers.

Verizon charges extra for data tethering. I think that's the reazon why you're not able to use them as mobile hotspot (if you have an unlimited data plan) I've used the Droid Razr HD for tethering here in my country, default ROM, with tho problems (over GSM network) I think that it just lacks carrier support.
