5G?
Is this real 5G or what AT&T calls 5G?
Re: Cheap?
I'm a happy Tmobile customer, but Fi does give A LOT more service for that extra money. It roams on 3 cellular networks (TMobile, Sprint, and US Cellular). Gives more possibility of getting a signal than just being a TMobile customer. Also, for international travelers, you get full speed data instead of 2g/3g speeds for no additional cost.
Re: in Favor of T-Mobile / Sprint Merger
I am of the opinion that VZW and ATT are hemorrhaging customers to TM. is this not true?
"True 5G"
"AT&T today added Chicago and Minneapolis to its list of cities that will get a true 5G network by the end of this year."
With this sentence right here, they are sure to lose the lawsuit Sprint has against them for false advertising... LOL
Isn't this what the Obama Phone program is for?
This state is so screwed up with it's taxing!
AT&T doesn't care....
T-Mobile did this in April of this year and Verizon did this in June... why did it take AT&T so much longer to offer this?
They are soooooo greedy
Re: NOPE NO WAY NOHOW
I don't think these companies expect to knock down anyone. They just want to make make money and have their company be a success.
You might want to change insecure to not secure
Insecure is when you don't have confidence in yourself. You might want to change the wording in the heading and news item.
Re: Roaming Options
ATT is a money hungry monopoly... they just need to go bankrupt and let the true innovator/leader win....T-Mobile
Actually a decent deal...
What happens after the 1GB. Do you get throttled? Do you get charged $10/extra gig used?
A step in the right direction...
But still FAIL!!! Why can't they just include it for no additional charge like TM and Sprint...?
If you can't beat them, copy the %@! out of them
So, it would be great if they weren't so blatantly copying the TMOne plan
Re: Suing Apple
I am not an iPhone user and I actually don't like iPhones/iPads, but there is nothing in this world that is un-hackable. There is nothing that is 100% secure.
This is not a lie by apple. They were saying the truth when they said that their devices are as secure as possible.
Encryption and Security on devices is a deterrent, it's never 100%. Kind of like when you put a Club on your car.
Re: Truly Unlimited?
From what I can see, it is fully unlimited, of course with de-prioritization. But unlimited GB at high speed. Only de-prioritized when tower is busy (not sure at how many gb that happens)
Watch out t-mobile..... NOT
Hahaha.... so only 3gb of hotspot per line?
Tmobile gives 14gb per line...
Seriously Sprint, just give up and die!
If you can't beat them.... copy them
Seriously Sprint.... if you can't beat T-mobile and you're going to copy them.... at least don't make it as obvious....
LOL Verizon....
So, Tmobile just announced anyone on a postpaid Simple Choice plan will have Unlimited High Speed data for 3 months starting 12/1 and ending on 3/1/2016 for no additional cost as a gift from TM.
Verizon says they want to be in the giving mood as well and will sell customers the ability to give 1GB of data for $10.... LOL
Re: AWESOME
They do actually

Getting closer to the big guys...
#2 here we come
Re: AWESOME
T-Mobile has had this for a while, even unlimited on all of their plans not just the most expensive ones...
T-Mobile gives Wifi calling to Android users as well
AT&T Sucks!!
Hmmmm
Well, I guess if you can't beat them, copy them... right Sprint?
Re: OBD-II ?
The only reason I could think for it is if it has some kind of gps tracking capability in case your car is stolen....
It does sound kind of interesting though why they are chosing the OBD port....
Re: WOW! I bet no other carrier can beat that at the same price point...
I get 60mb down/25 up in San Diego where I live. Sprint sucks most places. At is ok here. Verizon is super slow here....
Re: WOW! I bet no other carrier can beat that at the same price point...
every provider has bad coverage somewhere, even AT&T
Re: WOW! I bet no other carrier can beat that at the same price point...
But then you'd be stuck on Sprint's crappy network... I left Sprint last year because the fastest LTE speed I could get was 15mbps. On Tmobile, I get 60mbps.
I'm in San Diego, CA. so not in the middle of no-where....
Re: WOW! I bet no other carrier can beat that at the same price point...
I just checked, $50 for the line and $50 for 6gb of hotspot. So, $100.
Tmobile charges $80 for plan and 7gb hotspot. The $10/2gb. So for the same $100, you would get 11gb of hotspot...
Re: WOW! I bet no other carrier can beat that at the same price point...
How much hotspot data does Sprint include for that? Tmobile includes 7gb...
WOW! I bet no other carrier can beat that at the same price point...
This is just awesome. Unlimited data on my phone and 7G to share for $80....
Re: Horrible!
Seriously... it only has 4GB of storage....Even the galaxy light has more storage and it's $99
LTE Bands
Any info on which LTE bands it has? T-Mobile support?
This does not beat T-mobile.
It's cheaper, but you get less too...
With T-mobile with 4 lines or more (Up to 10) each user gets 2.5GB until 2016. It's only $110 for Tmobile... How much would 2.5GB cost on Cricket?
Cricket only gives you 500MB/line. It costs $10/line more for just making it 1.5GB.
5 Lines 1.5gb each on Cricket is $160.... HMMMMMM Which is better?
Why is it wrong for Tmobile to throttle
They are very clear about their throttling practices. Once you run out of the high speed data allotment you purchase, you are throttled for the remainder of the month. The rest of the carriers throttle you even when you have unlimited data.
Prob around $25/month
It will probably be around $25/month
$599/24 = 24.95
Re: Eventually...
Just make sure no one is using youtube... LOL
Re: Eventually...
Your #2 and #3 Con:
#2 can be easily remedied by paying for higher speed ISP. Remember a router has capabilities to handle 250 devices (computers, printers, phones, tablets)
The company I work for has a 15 story building with over 2000 employees in the company. We have wifi all over the place and have never run into problems.
3. I don't think that will be a problem because people already abuse those free hotspots with downloading torrents and ...
Re: Will this work internationally?
And that's probably why they will go to 4th place and tmobile will wipe the floor with them.
Re: Will this work internationally?
That's kinda stupid.... Why did they make it not work outside of the US. It doesn't cost them more...
Will this work internationally?
Will this work like TMobile's Wifi calling? If I travel to another country and connect to wifi, will I be charged for international roaming for calls and texts?
Re: was this an Android update too
Is there a way to turn this off on Android?
