4g hotspot question
Aug 11, 2011, 9:37 PM
in the T-Mobile forum

I have a rocket stick I use for my laptop. It is on the 39.99 5 gig no overage plan. Does anyone know if I can move the SIM out of it and use it in one of the new 4G hotpot units they have without affecting my plan. I was in the store the other day but the woman behind the counter didn't give me a concrete answer.

I just downloaded the over the air update and received version 18 from 15. I think the sound is a little louder and cleaner then it was in 15. Any one know what else it may have done or a site that tells you a list of updates and what they do?

looks good but....

What ever happened to the G'zone Rock the FCC had info on back in July. I am guessing (by the drawings) it was an improved version of the Boulder. By the way the Boulder has an OTA update in the stream version 18. I dont know what it did but it seems to sound a little better then V 15 ( louder and cleaner ). I have the "older Boulder"

Re: Non-Verizon CDMA phone on Verizon

You use to be able to. I currently have a non-vzw but my account says my phone type is "grandfathered". If you look at thier plans it says something like "running verizon software" under phone types. I think it will change in the future. I thought I read they will be switching to sim technology by 2013 (but don't quote me on it) because they are suppose to adopt LTE as their 4G speed or something like that.

6255i on verizon

in the Verizon forum

Has anyone ever activated a Nokia 6255i on Verizon? I hear its getting tougher to activate non Verizon branded phones on thier network. I'm still using my western wireless 3586i on it (love those free java games and ring tones) but the phone is getting old. The alarm stopped working about a year ago and the phone freaks out every now and then.
