It has both. mMode is viewed through Pocket IE, but you can view most web sites using it as well (not frames or Flash sites currently).

Yes, the SMT 5600 definitely plays WMA. I think it can play pretty much any WMA 8 or 9 stereo audio file. I think I just read that WMA Lossless even works (not sure). What I haven't tried yet is much older music files from early WMA/ASF codecs. WMA can even be used as the ringtone for incoming calls, although I recommend using WAV for that purpose instead. There's both a delay and some slowness of phone operation ...
