cleolicious. There are more important issues with which to concern yourself. Chill out. I've had every major wireless carrier on the market. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I have had Verizon in the past, and dropped calls regularly. If you feel that Verizon works for you, then that ought to be your choice. Why agonize over it? I really believe Verizon doesn't really need you to defend them.

Poor internet graphics quality

in the Nokia E71 / E71x forum

Just purchased the E71 and have been very disappointed in the poor quality of the images on the web browser. Most pictures are displayed with hardly any color at all. Is there a setting that needs to be changed? Love the phone otherwise. Thanks!

Email problems with WM 6

in the HTC Dash / S620 / S621 (Excalibur) forum

Just purchased an unlocked Dash running WM 5. There were no problems setting up the internet service or email. I upgraded to WM 6, and now cannot get my pop3 accounts to work. I receive an error message - Error synchronizing." Also a message saying that my internet is not set up correctly. However, the internet works fine. Any ideas??? Is there a link to download WM 5? Wouldn't mind going back. Thanks

I have also heard that the P910 will support 2 GB. I also noticed your review of the P910, and that you were disappointed in the battery life. I had the same issue, and found that if I reduced the intensity of the display, it increased battery life tremendously.

Could be the problem is not Verizon, but a person who apparently cannot express a thought without using "MF." If you must use distasteful, juvenile language, use it elsewhere. I prefer not to see it. Grow up!

Re: NO WEB ACCESS ON EVDO

in the Audiovox PPC-6600 / PPC-6601 / XV6600 (HTC Harrier) forum

Thanks for the responses. I appreciate the help. After about six hours on the phone with Verizon's third tier support, and two trips to the Verizon store, they finally decided that the problem was not with the device (after three of them), but that the problem was in my account. They deleted my old number and set up a new number. Worked fine. It was a tiring experience, but I appreciated Verizon's diligence in trying to take care of ...

NO WEB ACCESS ON EVDO
May 30, 2005, 7:09 PM
in the Audiovox PPC-6600 / PPC-6601 / XV6600 (HTC Harrier) forum

I just purchased an XV6600, and have been trying to set up internet access. I spent three hours today with three different Verizon techs, who could not help. When the PDA is showing EV at the top of the screen, the phone will not connect to the web. It also eliminates my password. It gives me a message that my unsername or password is not correct. On occassion, the display will show 1X. If it holds the 1X signal, it will ...

Re: V710 Camera - Not Just an Alignment Issue
Nov 24, 2004, 5:52 AM
in the Motorola V710 forum

I agree with your assessment of the V710 camera - not very good. However, the decision to be made (in my opinion), is not the quality of the "camera", but the quality of the phone. I have a V710, and because of all the criticism I read here, I ordered an Audiovox CDM9900 from Verizon. The reception was so poor, I returned it, thinking the phone was defective. The replacement was the same. Sooo, if you need a reliable ...
