Heymjo said: Is there a shortcut key that will allow me to change from a ringtone to vibrate at the press of a button other than giving up one of the two side convenience keys? if you dial from home screen turned off...just hit f which brings up profiles then scroll to vibrate...its very simple.

its only zoomed out in the beginning...that way you can go directly to the point on the page you want....for example, when i go to espn.com, i navigate to the 10 or so headlines to the right of the main picture and them zoom in on that.

i used minimo once and dont really remember anything about it but opera mini is amazing. to me the best feature is that once the page loads...its zoomed out and you move a box around and then hit the trackball and it zooms to that point of the page. using 2 4 6 8 is always nice when you need to quickly zoom to the bottom of the page.

to the June 1 release date. I mean I know they dont ever stick to a date but they had this phone on the website months in advance and told us June 1st, everything is gonna change. Keep pushing it back and 3g iphone will beat it to the market. On a side note, I was in a sprint store today and talking to a manager about the instinct. He said they didnt know which plan ...

download opera mini browser for the curve and use that for browsing. As for whose service is better...blah blah blah, its all on your area and if you travel a lot. As far as the no 3g remark, the iphone 3g model will be out by the end of summer most likely. I was skeptical of the iphone virtual keyboard but having used several virtual boards, theres is the best. I myself do not have ...

It’s ok, you can say it… Finally! Verizon Wireless customers won’t have to wait much longer for the BlackBerry Curve 8330 that we’ve known to be coming to the nation’s largest CDMA carrier for quite some time. Of course this news is a bit overshadowed by all of the BlackBerry juice we’ve been feeding you lately, but it will still come as good news to those of you waiting for a solid upgrade on VZW. According to several reports ...

May 5, 2008, 5:39 PM
in the BlackBerry Curve 8330 forum

that wont be the outright price of the phone once its actually on shelves. at least not at a sprint store. why you go thru bestbuy to buy a sprint phone i dont know. thats why the phone cost more. im saying 600 max for outright price at a sprint store and probably more like 499 or 549

well the other thing you have to look at is that its on backorder aka not released yet so you would be paying 800 for a phone and then have to wait who knows how long to get it. i guarantee you as soon as that phone is available for purchase at Bestbuy that it wont be 800. Besides ebay is where to purchase phone only to avoid contract extension. I'd say about 400-500 max for ...

Im not too familiar with the cdma part of things but I hear this bull from ATT(Cingular) all the time about how an unlocked phone will only work for voice and not data. Well I have had at least 20 unlocked phones, at least 5 of them that never even made it state side that worked 100 percent without a flaw, voice and data. So Im sick of hearing that certain features wont work. You stated ...

what that really means is there is no clear cut line and i bet it will be some reps allowing non sprint phones and others not and it will be chaos. Just like FCC said last year i think that unlock codes must be provided on gsm side but didnt mean ATT/Tmobile had to give out those codes.

finally somebody got it right...good job bigbmc26. The debate isnt evdo vs 3g. Iphone has wifi because its on edge which is slower than molasses. IT has to have wifi but touch is on evdo network so wifi isnt that big of a concern. Any gsm phone nowdays that doesnt support 3g is jsut worthless and I have to say that for the iphone as well. My BB 8830 cost me 275, my 30gb ...
