not the phone thing again. blackberries target cooperate users, often times a camera is a no no in certain areas/buildings etc. i wish people would stop bitching about bbs not having cameras. go buy a digital camera.

WRONG, THE 7100 AND THE 7520 BLACKBERRIES ALSO HAVE BLUE TOOTH.

A buddy returned it and went back to the 7520. It had a number of bugs netel admitted to. Personally the only thing I like is the screen. Ill wait for the next full size blackberry with the same screen as the 7100. Plus, I hate that new keyboard, ill stick to the full size keyboard also.
I also forgot to mention they use a different type of plastic on the 7100. Its not the same quality as the 7520, ...

workaround
The workaround is to find the carrier extension of the person u wanna text. Like 2163211236@cingular.net, and send ur text as a email. Nextels sms is web based which is why the berry can't do sms on the nexel network

The emails are stored on the device. The nextel berry is thicker than the cdma and gsm versions due to the speaker. I'm on mine typing this : )

This is the best berry out period. Speaker phone(which in true nextel fashion is LOUD!),bluetooth,direct connect,and built in html browser. In fact I'm posting this from my 7520!. Mmmmmm smells so good fresh out the yellow nextel box: ). You can even set up the web client from the phone! U dont even need a PC. Only thing I can't figure out is sms/text messaging. It doesn't work ike my old 7280 berry from att. Hmmmmm. Anybody got a ...

hey jess i finally signed it. its pretty sweet. gotta love the free nights & weekends, ultd text,walkie talkie, and internet. much less of a hassle buying reboost cards every week, and having to worry what ur balance is etc. in fact, this plan is what really saved me from just paying the $250 deposite and jumping ship to nextel.
by the way theres a trouble ticket in the cleveland area for text messaging....any idea when itll be fixed? its ...

v600 antenna
anyone using a v600/v620(black)antenna?. i like the looks of my v600 antenna better than the cone shape of the v551 antenna. my concern is the metal contact poles on the antenna are slightly different lenghts. the v551 pole is longer(metal part of antenna that is inside the phone when screwed in). im wondering if the pole of the shorter v600 antenna will make the needed contact internally to provide good reception.
