How do I make assign my mp3 file as a ringtone?
Dec 27, 2009, 6:14 PM
in the LG Xenon GR500 forum

I have tried everything. I bluetoothed the files to the phone and all they will do is play on the music player. Why can't I assign as a ringtone if I want to?

I can't understand why M would release such a nice upgrade and NOT include a card slot. Makes no sense. I won't buy it without the upgradable memory

I live outside the US at present and all of the V8 phones I have seen so far have only 512mb and NO CARD SLOT! I bought my wife a V9 from ATT and it will accomodate a card up to 4GB.

ok thanks. Since I live in the middle east, i would not buy phone from tmobile. Ialso won't buy a phone this expensive without the sd slot. knowing moto as I am beginning to, they will introduce the phone with the SD 6 months AFTER I buy it without. Fool me once...

Thanks for your reply. I am actually in Saudi Arabia where I work. (I am from Louisiana) There is a Radio Shack about 20 miles from here in Bahrain. But I would have to drive there to find out if they have what I need. And yes, I had already thought about the bandwidth. We use strictly GSM in this part of the world.

Cellular Signal Booster

I am having serious issues with the signal strength inside my home. This only just started about a month ago. Before that, I had a decent signal. Now, almost every call is dropped. Can anyone offer real advice on signal boosters? I see Radio Shack offers a few, but do they really work? They start at $300.00. Rather expensive if it doesn't work. Worth it if it does...

Plus, if you travel outside the US, your CDMA will NOT work. GSM will work anywhere you happen to travel

I own this phone and it is not as wide. It is narrower and slightly longer...very sleek. It is a MUCH better phone than the razr.

I think Moto won't list them until they are sold and used outside the US first to work out any possible bugs and to see how they actually work. Plus, the US is still primarily a CDMA market where the rest of the world is a GSM system market.

I finally tried the digital camera on my maxx. i was really impressed at the quality of the image. crystal clear. this is a very nice, sleek phone. I have owned a few different razr v3 incarnations and this V6 is by far the nicest, most sleek version yet.

I am from the US but I currently live in Dubai (Middle East) I keep my Cingular account active for when I travel home. I have a Moto V3i, V3x and an L7. All are unlocked quad band. They work on cingular's network, as well as any other network in the world. BUT, when i was home in August, I visited my friends at Cinglar to see why none of my data features work. ...

I bought a V3x on May 30 and within 2 weeks i started having problems. First, when I opened it for what ever reason, the screen would go white. Then IF the screen returned to normal, it would show "no service". At which point i could not access my phone book or anything else until i removed the battery and rebooted. I finally had to return it when it died completely. It wouldn't do ...

As I have stated before, I am an American living in Dubai (middle East) I currently own the V3i and as with the V3, I am totally happy with it. it does all it is supposed to do and well. The V3x was introduced here about a month ago and a few friends have purchased it. it is a very good looking phone very similar the the V3 only a bit thicker. VERY nice looking. ...

The version here has up to 512 mb transflash memory. The video conferencing is an integral part of this phone. one of the main selling features. your carrier must have 3g capability. Here is the HelloMoto UK link for the V3x. This also the version being sold here in Dubai. http://direct.motorola.com/eng/Web_fu ll_specs.asp?Country=GBR&language=ENG&product id=30341&strPrimaryOption=FS&lSecondaryOption =-3

I am an American currently living in Dubai, U.A.E. I was at lunch today in a nearby mall and saw this phone in several different shops. it sells here for about $350.00. I currently have the V3 and love it. This one seems to be the exact same size and weight and is much nicer looking. I am considering it.
