I agree nothing special about 5G, and as noted especially the mmWave frequencies.
I'd be curious for Rich's or others thoughts on HPUE, high power user equipment as it relates to any concerns for safety (if any).

Having purchased phones on ebay spanning several years, I've been burned more than once.
Delighted to see folks have a way to look. Hopefully this will cut way down on fraudulent transactions.
One last thought: One smartphone I purchased on ebay was not stolen, but had a balance due on account and could not be activated. I don't know if the Apple tool can detect this condition (which still may prohibit use)

iPhone 6 has a "Cellular" menu, then LTE selected as "Data Only" by default. Changing this to "Data and Voice" enables VoLTE. All VoLTE calls use the data channel, and as such effectively let you use data and voice simultaneously for every call (assuming LTE is available). Best voice quality is had calling another VoLTE compatible phone, but the ability to do voice and data is there no matter who you call (landline, or non-VoLTE cellular ...

As noted, yes better deal for folks on family plan and already paying for Edge.
Note that the "$25/mo discount" goes away as soon as your phone is paid for, so you are locked into Edge (and getting new phones) to keep the better rate.
In short, there is no way to get 4 phones for $160 like AT&T can do. i.e. Even if you pay off your phone, you would lose discount unless you borrow more ...
