I also have had several phones before smartphones had become mainstream. Even the last (legacy) BlackBerry I owned was far more expensive than the subsidized iPhone 3G and some of the early Android phones that were still running "Cupcake"... I've had my variety of premium phones over the years and it was also a time that many of the best in class feature phones really felt worth the price. Two examples of my previous devices that had amazing bang for ...

This phone ...

From what I gather, RIM with the BlackBerry 10 OS for both the PlayBook and future Smartphones will have Flash support as well as Adobe AIR (which many native PlayBook apps use) so Flash may be a given despite the current browser on the PlayBook and current BlackBerry phones running BlackBerry OS 6 or later already have full HTML 5 support. The largest problem is by the time they get what BlackBerry owners want on the shelves, it may be ...

Re: New S II owner...should I be upset about the S III?

in the Samsung Galaxy S II / SGH-T989 forum

I'm in the same boat pretty much but coming from a BlackBerry 9700. Despite the release of the new S3, I still love this phone. It's not ready for the bargain bin and with ICS being released, it feels and runs like a new phone despite how long it's been around. I am more than pleased with mine and don't have "buyer's remorse" when I was deciding between the HTC One S and my Galaxy S2. Especially after popping in ...
