Because exactly what we need in this country is yet *another* damn frequency band for phones to have to support... what's wrong with: 700 750 800 850 1700/2100 1900 2300 (if at&t actually rolls it out) 2500 and those are just bands we use here in the US... add in several more if you want a global phone which will work anywhere. I was wondering if all (most?) of TMobile's existing devices are able to do HSPA+ over 1900 mhz as it is. I also wonder if this means they might start expanding their 3g network to areas they didn't have AWS spectrum available previously.
