I tried both the MDA and SDA and unlike my Nokia smartphone, with their operating system, it was not possible to have mp3 ringtones... how is it on this device? is it possible to have mp3 ringtones right off the memory card as a ringtone or do I have to buy an application in order to be able to do that.

I don't think what you are saying about T-mobile losing money is true, because they are charging 10 dollars more a month for the faves plan. And I am willing to pay for that but what I don't want to do is go and pay another 300 dollars to get the phone since I paid that much for the phone that I have... So if anyone has tried to put their sim card into a non-faves phone and call ...

Hi everyone I have a Treo 650(unlocked) that I use with my T-mobile account. Is there any way for me to install the myfaves software on it? If not, will it be possible in the near future or should I replace the best phone/PDA I've ever owned with the Pearl?

EDGE on 3G phones...
Oct 12, 2005, 3:07 AM
in the Nokia forum

I think it is worth the wait as N70 is starting to sell with some indirect phone dealers in the US. I plan to use T-mobile only, so will they do away with their 1900 and go to 850 also? And is it true that I won't be able to roam where they have agreements with cingular or will the 900 band pick up the 850 band and let me roam? I'm a little confused about the N70/other 3G phones. ...

Hi everyone, I have a nokia 6600 (same as 6620 except different frequency) with T-mobile and when I go under security and setting its asking me for a lock code, I tried the default 12345 and it doesn't work!!! I also tried formatting the phone by pressing the *3talk power combo and once formatted, it still doesn't recognize 12345 as its code. So if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it...

I currently own a Nokia 6600 with T-mobile. I wanted to upgrade to the Nokia 6681, because I've been told i can't use the 6682 because it uses GSM 850 which is not supported by T-mobile. My question: is there a significant upgrade to go from a Nokia 6600 to the 6681 or should I wait until the N70 comes out? Also, If I get the unbranded 6681 will it be able to have MP3 ringtones? Is the quality ...
