Re: Indirectly
Is this the same as I'm being offered thru the AT&T premier site because of my discount thru my job or can I use this in addition to that?
Re: I would laugh
I would say being that this is the most heavily populated region in the state of SC and given the caliber of international business here added with already being live with 4G HSPA+, I would say its a given LTE will be here sooner than later. It will definitely be here before Sprint even deploys its first LTE market. So I don't think I'll lose by leaving the maybe network.
Re: Indirectly
Well we have way more business & industry than Athens & several major international companies. So its not a longshot. Athens probably got it due to the university of Georgia being there.
Re: Galaxy S II is great
Sprint gambled on WiMax becoming the 4G standard for all. They lost. I've had Verizon. They're way overrated. Sprint's pricing is the only thing keeping them around. At&t. Faster 3G than Sprint ever dreamed of. I can bet we will have LTE here by first half of 2012. Did I forget you can talk and surf the net with AT&T. So it seems like a good move to me.
Re: Indirectly
Being that I'm halfway between Atlanta & Charlotte and in an area with a lot of business & industry plus Verizon already having LTE here. Do you think that improves the odds of AT&T bringing LTE to my area?
Re: Indirectly
Ok. I live in Greenville, South Carolina but I often travel to Georgia, North Carolina, & Tennessee. I have to say AT&T's coverage is as good as Verizon.
Re: Galaxy S II is great
Well I've had at&t before. I had no real complaints & I shouldn't have left. I had Verizon before as well. They are not all they're hyped up to be. Sprint is so far behind on technology and not even close to having LTE its not even funny.I Do you work for at&t Jellz?
Thinking of ditching Sprint for AT&T
I'm thinking of ditching Sprint for AT&T. Considering the Galaxy SII. Anyone know when or if AT&T will have LTE in Greenville, SC? Any feedback on the phone would also be appreciated....
Re: 4G Coverage
Once everyone annouced a couple of years back they were going LTE Sprint should've abondoned Wimax then & started moving to LTE. They have no one to blame but themselves.
Re: 4G Coverage
And meanwhile us the customers have to wait yet again while Sprint makes up its mind what it wants to do. If the upgrade to the towers is that easy why not get it done?? And what about handsets or will the existing ones be useless???
Re: Doesn't seem as though any 4G coverage is being added
I'm just wondering if we as sprint customers are gonna be left waiting for a few years.
4G Coverage
Does anyone out there know when Sprint will have 4G coverage in Greenville, SC?
Re: Considering T Mobile
While it may have been addressed I doubt we will see Sprint roll out anything fast. Their venture with clearwire has been slow as is everything Sprint does.
Re: Considering T Mobile
AT&T isn't that bad. Had them before. The deal with lightsquared is up in the due to some kind of gps interference issue. It may be 2015 before I see LTE or WiMax with Sprint. FYI, T-mo beat Sprint in a recent speed test.
Considering T Mobile
I am currently a Sprint customer but I'm considering T Mobile. They offer employees where I work a very generous discount plus they already have 4G where I live. Any feedback on coverage as well as the WiFi calling to help with coverage in your home would be greatly appreciated. I live in Greenville, SC.
