My whole RSD department that takes sup calls only gets like 10 calls each a day. The huge fuster cluck queue takes 45+ each. Whoever makes the queues have started merging RSD since we're so busy, but that only lasts for about .2 seconds.
If we have such a high call volume, why not add more bodies?
Or just let us release calls until the queue is free.

cci transfered by warranty warranty handling issue with phne not working , has had issues with (home internet/phone/cable service) and wireless device bought at store wanted compensation for inconvenience with uverse and wireless device being faulty. warranty set committment with customer for replacement device and offered customer 25 dollar courtesy credit and 5000 rollover minutes... cust proceeded to tell her life history with (the wireless company) unable to interject into conversation. didnt want to take the court credit ...offered ...

OMG! Yes I know exactly what you're saying. I got wrote up for not going to work one day because my car broke down 45 mins away from work, someone else didn't show up but they had kids that were sick and it was like no big deal.

Just found out.
Another call center that takes the same type of calls as mine closed down. Reason being "****** HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN EXPECT HIGHER CALL VOLUME FROM THEIR QUES"
So my logic is this, "If theres too many calls, why shut down a center if they have too many calls?" This does nothing but make the other centers have even more calls.
/rant and life.

Whats the one thing that a customer can say/do that automatically makes you pray terrible things happen to them? Everybody has to have something like this.
Mine is when people ask me to speak up or repeat myself

I know, I was being semi-sarcastic. Morale has been pretty low and they keep wanting our stats to go up (or down depending on what). They even based a quartly one-time bonus on our stats. We get 3 strikes site wide for them, we've used 2 strikes and still have another 2 months to go. When we strike out, no bonus.

No one wants to come to work anyways. So why should they bother keeping people happy? As long as the people on top are getting paid thats all that matters.

Dear other Customers,
If your handheld phone that has many capabilities of a computer, for some ungodly reason doesn't operate at the speed of thought, take a step back and think, "Hmm, my home pc has difficulities doing umpteen million things at the same time." Or hey, better yet, call tech support everytime it does. Its a damn phone. If it slows down some accept it, and move on with life.

Re: Falling asleep while "on duty"...
I've done it, but I've never slept through a call. I turn the volume to 11 so I get woke up. I have however fallen asleep on a call for a minute or 2.

Yes, alot of them. Beautiful rant by the way. My favorite is when a different department tells customers that my department can do something, quote rules verbatim to me and the customer, but however they're wrong because we no longer do such policy. Ahh... joyous times.
