Sometimes I can go months without throwing up. Then I have periods where I can't even keep down water for weeks at a time. It's really random, it seems.
Heck if I know.
I think I came in a week and a half ago. I was in ICU for three days, now on a regular floor. Just got moved to a full liquid diet today (after nothing but ice and popsicles), so I'm guessing a while.

I've got a disease called gastroparesis, which means my stomach doesn't work right and I throw up a lot. When I do, it messes with my blood sugars (I'm also a diabetic) and I end up in the hospital.

Alive.
Just got out of another hospital visit (only two weeks this time) and trying to get my insurance to pay for the surgery I need. At least I HAVE insurance now!!

No cupcakes, but lots of good gifts. Was in the hospital for my bday and am still here. My tummy quit working so I haven't eaten anything buy popsicles and hard candy in three months. But I'm going to a special place in Ohio later this month to see if they can fix me.

My stomach stopped working and the docs don't know what to do to fix it. The only true fix costs ten thousand dollars, minimum. With no insurance, I'm screwed.

they play "Mary Had A Little Lamb" when ever someone who isn't supposed to get out of bed disappears, to let staff know to be on the lookout for an escapee.
It's been playing constantly for the last ten minutes. I think they lost a sheep. :lol:
