Re: Text Crazy Teens!
yeah im old. I didnt get a cell til i was 17 though. and i had to pay for it myself. but we had to put it on my dads name cause i wasnt old enough to sign a contract.
apparently im new to smartphones too!
Just had a lady with a 4s that had a defective sim, so i switched it out in the system with a new one, popped the sim tray out, and popped the new sim directly into the phone. without putting it in the tray first. Needless to say it was a nightmare trying to get it out. Ive never done that before, and man did i feel like a tool.
Re: Text Crazy Teens!

completely false
27 years X 52 weeks a year X 40 hours per week = 56160 hours worked.
13 years of actual work = 676 weeks actually worked
56160 hours/ 676 weeks actually worked = 83hrs per week.
So no i dont think youve been working 83 hr weeks, (not counting the time you were there for unpaid lunches) 52 weeks a year with out missing any days for 13 years.
BOOM! Myth Busted.
Re: Activation Fees
Cust: oh it is per line, okay. Well can you just add it to the bill?
Re: sigh, rant
but we have no one who could cover. And it is a legitimate medical excuse. If i thought my dad was having a heart attack, i wouldnt be at work.
sigh, rant
So my other associate requested today off for a weekend vaca. Im to open, then i leave early on sundays to soot in my pool league. Boss just called me and told me his dad was in hospital and having chest pains, etc. and wanted to know if i could close for him. I firmly believe his dad is in the hospital, so i agreed to do it. This sucks, i believe he should be able to go with ...

Re: ugh!!!!
could not agree more. im trying to do a morning inventory. I try to load the files on to the scanning gun and it says:
"files not found. Initiate count."
so i try to start the count and it says
"load stock files"
which then tells me theyre not found and to start the count. One giant ineffective loop.
Re: Weekend roll call?

Re: Customer's names.

Re: Here's a question, Skully:
Hey i dont care if he wants to. I was just pointing out that he would have an etf, he acknowledged, so it was game on for the sale.
He had coverage when he signed his agreement, then a few months later he no longer did. I dont know why, but his argument was that they were no longer able to provide service to him at that location per the agreement. My point about him being rich, was that ...
Don't worry,
I lol'd when i read it too. Dm in Texas?
Re: Here's a question, Skully:
Mine is $800 for a 4 line, switching from TMO to ATT. He said he was going to fight it though. More power to him. He was rich anyways.

Re: NO Otterbox for Galaxy S II
I think the problem is that a lot of people buy those samsungs because they are so sleek and slim, and usually have pretty durable screens on the front. And putting an otterbox detracts from the looks and thin-ness of the phone. And with gorilla glass, there is no need for the plastic over the front.
THIS
when i was doing this at sams club, the local sprint store kept telling customers we sold refurbs and thats how we could sell them cheaper. We had customers come up and say they would never buy from us because we only sell refurbs, like they would know better than we do. Cause the guy at the sprint store said so.
Re: Samsung Galaxy S II Accessories
You could get a nice bluetooth headset, ive always had luck with blueant branded ones.
Re: How much can your company afford?
ours is terrbile too. it updates like twice a day. If you sell anything after 630pm you cant find out how much its worth til the next day.

Re: no visual display on my samsung t629
wrong forum, but try bringing it to your service provider and they can hook it up and transfer to another phone or a flash drive.
Re: just the tip
Honestly the most fun i ever had at work. I should chronicle them all into a book.
Re: just the tip
Sometimes we didnt. We were young and immature. I was like 20 and rob was like 22. I have so many ridiculous stories from that place. Involving drinking, shotguns on the salesfloor, people getting their drivers licenses revoked after leaving work, one dude crapped his pants on the sales floor and refused to go home, fist fights, broken limbs. I miss how much fun we had.
non call center games
at a previous job for radioshack we used to try to say, and get the customer to say, the phrase "just the tip"
It worked well because we had car chargers with interchangeable tips.
They also played the game from Waiting, involving the showing of the genitalia. A coworker rob actually stood in an aisle 4 feet behind an old lady i was ringing up and gave me the brain. He also gave me the brain when i was on ...
because
most customers are dumb.
