The 18th is a sunday which means the latest you can send it is the 14th. The packing slip is for 2day delivery not including sat. make sure your new phone is activated before you turn in your packet.

Yes, you can...as long as you include the receipt of the purchase in the packet. It also states this at the bottom of the exchange website.

I'm trying to delete the factory images but i keep getting an error. "Device needs attention - Other CDMA phone on COM7 Other CDMA Phone on COM7: THe phone is not responding while manipulating the file system" I've gone in device manager and changed the COM port numbers three times. (COM4, COM5, COM7) I see the file system, but when i tried to retrieve the picture folder it show this error. What am i doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Just making sure man. Most people have reported having no service after the flash...i just thought it was odd it didnt lose it.

I just flashed my phone and it worked! I followed the instructions directly on that post. Except for using XP, i used 98SE and it worked fine. Only thing im worried about is...i left the comp b/c i knew it was gonna take a few min. I came back and i saw that the phone has rebooted itself and it had full service. I powered down and restarted it and it still had service. ...

I just got my phone today and tried uploading some mp3's to my phone through hotmail. I change the extension to .mid and sent it. I recieve the message fine but it says midi is an "unsupported content type". Can someone please help me. Yes, pic messaging is enabled.

Really? I was told that it expires 3 months after you were eligible. I'm waiting on the lg8000. If not i could live with the v710.

Thanks for the reply and yes i have a 39.99 price plan. I wanted to wait as long as possible to fully take advantage of this promo. Hopefully, the lg8000 will be available by then. *crosses fingers

Is there a time limit to when you can use this plan? Because i was eligible since June 8th but the phone i want isn't available yet. So i was wondering if i can wait a number of months before i can use this. Thanks
